They're the exception, not the norm. Kinda like when folks around here say a 1-2* guy just got drafted in the first round so scout rankings don't matter. Daj can show you it does. Exceptions, not norms.

He's doing great, but you can tell he has lost a few steps by putting on all that weight... not the same 218lb kid that came in to Knoxville....

I am pleasantly surprised to see he is still quick enough to play standing up as well as with his hand down. I think Maggitt is gonna come up big for us before the season ends.

Curt has 3 sacks already this year. Did Jacques Smith have more than 3 total in his 4 year career? I know he only had 1 in his senior season.

Keep in mind, several of the big hits by AJ and Reeves-Maybin came after Maggitt flattened the lead blocker. His stats aren't showing it, but he is a very disruptive presence.

Jayden Maybin-Rooves and CJ Jensen have been a huge bright spot that has overshadowed Curte Moggits season.

Dellon Baetes and Cesil Chery will be a force next year too.

You are entitled to your opinion, but what he's doing by allowing JRM or Weathered to make plays on the ball carrier or QB won't be on a stat sheet and would be sorely missed if he went out. I have a very hard time being critical of anyone on the defensive side of the ball right now. They are the reason we have a chance in every game we have left remaining on the schedule. Yes I am including this weekend and next.

Did you not see the sack he had last Saturday? Kid looked like he had been shot out of a cannon. I would say he showed excellent burst. They have been careful with the amount of snaps he has played thus far. Number of snaps have been increasing weekly, thus his production is increasing.
