Hey guys, it was a great trip this weekend. From start to finish. I kept waiting to run into traffic coming in on I40, but never did. Got off on Henley street and went straight to the Locust Rd parking garage. Watched the Vol walk and my wife got to slap hands with the players, which was her highlight. Got something to eat at the Thompson-Bowling arena (which ended up being our anniversary dinner, hamburgers and chili cheese fries). Got in stadium and OH MY GOSH, could not believe the size. TV doesnt do it justice. Enjoyed the entire experience. Since my wife is such a big fan of UT, had to wear SC clothes just to keep it interesting. Got a couple of boos, but nothing that I would consider over the top or what we would all consider "classless", just good natured ribbing. The only thing I would have done differently is to make reservations earlier and stay in Holiday Inn Express so that we could have gone straight from the game to bed. That game was exhausting. The game ended up being a classic. Nothing about the experience was bad. You guys have a facility/fanbase/atmosphere that you should be proud of. Already making plans to come up during the UT/Bama game.
