He didn't have to jump. That's what's inexcusable. Both kicks hit him in the armpit. It should not be possible to block a kick with your armpit.

Thanks for the kind words. You guys have the best coach in college football and are going to be a threat for as long as Saban's with you. I do believe that when it's all said and done that Kiffin will be better than Meyer.

Is it possible for someone to get two blocked kicks when they can't even slide a paper under them when they jump? No excuses for Lincoln to kick that low.

And while we're at it: Saban has a point to prove about Bama being the dominant team in the SEC. You can't do to Bama what you did when you embarassed Florida. You can't take the ball out of Crompton's hands and run against Bama like you did against Florida. You won't move the ball on Bama like that. You can't burn clock against Bama like you did against Florida. There is no way to play it safe and keep it respectable. Your running game will be stifled for three-and-outs all day long unless you make Crompton play. And the Bama defense will eat him alive when that happens. There is no hope for your team.

Bama just told you and Kiffin to go screw yourselves.

Now Bama is going to give you and your coach the reality check everyone has been waiting for. The one Florida wasn't man enough to give you."

I wanted to offer up my congrats on a heck of a football game. I knew that Monte Kiffin would have your D ready to play, and they were more than ready. I had thought that Greg McElroy looked bad against Ole Miss and Arkansas, but you guys made him look even worse. You also contained Mark Ingram, and that's not easy to do.

If I was your AD, I'd do two things: 1) Give Monte a raise, and 2) Tell Lane to go recruit a kicker. A big part of why we won today was because your kicker kicks the ball too low and he doesn't kick it very far. An above average kicker and that game is a W for you guys.

Another thing I've noticed in watching you guys this year is that you get better every week and you are VERY well coached. What Lane has done with Crompton is impressive. He made some ridiculously good throws today against tight coverage. As much as I hate to say it, you've got a good coach who is likely to do good things for your program in the future. I don't know if Lane will do in his second year what Saban did in his second year at Alabama, but I see a lot of the same parallels.

Thanks LegalBeagle, you guys are a great team with an awesome defense. I wish we could have made a few more plays, but that was an absolutely terrific game and neither side has anything to be ashamed of.

Guys, the kicks were low but Alabama destroyed the line both times... I can't blame Lincoln solely.

Yes, he definitely did. But in defense of our guy, he was giving up 100 lbs. We just didn't have a guy big enough to stop Cody on the FGs. FL beat us because of Tebow. You guys had Cody.

Helleva game, but I wish it had gone our way.

Now somebody tell all the GA fans who were rooting for Bama, that they can now stop with the 'Lame Kiffin' and 'Lane Kitten' getting his "comeuppance"

yeah we way down on linemen,,but hey the coaching is making us right now,,but yeah we do.BUT seems the recruiting is going GREAT,,so I know this game wil be great every year!!I was shaking like a little ***** before that kick,,took me 20 mins to recover.

Injuries. Cody was going up against two 260 OL walkons.

I was very unimpressed with Cody except on the FG blocks where he had lots of help from othere BAMA players.

He severely underperformed against lesser competition and got manhandled on several plays by guys that would be on our scout team if not for defections and injuries.

Tennessee has a good team that is only getting better. Take it from me I know what it's like to rebuild after being left with nothing. I look for more great games in the future. I honestly believe you guys are the best team we played this far. I hate Tennessee but there is no reason we can't show class. Good job Vols...

I had no idea you guys were that thin on OL. That makes your coaches that much more impressive.

And I think you've hit on something we can both agree on--UGA fans are some arrogant SOBs!
