The story about Hurd should have no influence on Kongbo. He is still a person. You dont give up on a kid in less than a year.

Looks to me Kongbo is the one quitting. What makes you thing the staff has given up on him? Hes still very raw and we have better options like Vereen snd Barnett. We need him inside. Maybe he dont want to be inside.

I didnt say the coaches were quitting on him. I was responding to people saying CBJ should kick him off the team now.

Part of making 4 million dollars a year is managing egos and understanding different personalities. If these kids were really that bad of a prob their reputation would have preceded them. It's seems to me that they become more and more frustrated about how they r being used compared to how they were told they would be used. Frustration eventually spills over.

Look at our injuries. Thats why he's playing inside. Should be a team player and suck it up. Instead its the me attitude.

At what age do we stop calling him a kid? I've noticed that when it comes to college athletes we want to treat them as kids but a regular 20 year old who has a job is an adult. Not being an ass about it I'm genuinely curious why people do that?

Meanwhile, there are 18 year old MEN serving overseas.

Depends on age (our age). I consider 20 year olds kids. Call him what you want, kid, young man whatever. You dont quit on them in less than a year.

Having been one of those MEN for the last twenty years, I can say with confidence, at 18 they are still kids. They man do extraordinary things, but if you think they are not kids, you havent spent much time around junior enlisted military.
