I just read a wonderful article about my beloved Sooners and their 1st visit to Neyland. I cannot tell how proud it made me feel but more so how gracious it was. We are truly excited and honored to walk on to the hallowed ground that is Neyland Stadium. Thank you for welcoming the SOONERS.

We as Volnation welcome All Logical, Rational, Responsible Sooner fans to our haven. If you do not mind, see if they will wear Orange or White, we need the living breathing General "Neyland" Stadium to look good on television.

Go Vols!:clapping::dance2::pepper:

It's special to welcome a team like ou to neyland. Couldn't ask for a more respectable historic program than OU to schedule.

Good Post.

Enjoy your trip to Knoxville but hopefully you will leave with your head dropped wondering what just happened to the Sooners.

It should be a better game than last year. Neyland is a great stadium. Get there early , lots of things going on before the game.

Most of our fans are civil but as with most places we do have the obnoxious few with the loud nasty mouths. Ignore them, that's what I do.

:hi:

I was at Peyton Manning's last game in the Orange Bowl. The Nebraska fans were totally top shelf. I always felt the same about Oklahoma and look forward to sharing a great football experience with their fans, too.

You've been a very knowledgable, respectful and classy poster. Been a pleasure having you and all the other Sooners on the forum. Here's hoping to a clean, hard-fought battle on Saturday with no injuries to our beloved teams. Wish you guys the best of luck this season............beginning Sunday 😁

I was also at that game. I have said many times, the Nebraska fans were a class act. By far the best group of opposing fans I have been around.

That is the way all fans should be.

Yeah, I echo KB's sentiment entirely about you, Owen. But not all. In the past 12 hours, particularly, the young thugs have shown up, ruining what was turning out to be a very good rep for e-Sooner fans.

I've been a huge fan of this board this week. I wasn't originally going to sign up, but the majority of you are a good lot. Cheers, Vols! Feels like it needs to be Saturday already!

Wish you could have been in Norman last year and experienced real Sooners on game day. The internet is full of morons...

No, Thank You for bringing good logic from the opposing side. So many just like to stir, but you haven't. You're welcome anytime.

I stumbled on it on my cell phone. It was an article in the Knoxville paper that talked about other historic programs that had come to Neyland. He went into great detail about our history. It was a wonderful piece and was so welcoming.

I am sitting at Adele's in Nashville with friends. Driving over tomorrow. We park at Calhoun's and board our rented house boat at Vol Landing tomorrow afternoon. Will hang our OU flag....everyone is welcome.

I was treated very well in Norman last year. Please return the favor to the OU fans in Knoxville. Remember, there will be jackasses who show up for both teams. Best thing is to ignore those few idiots, and focus on the majority of decent people who attend the game.

You think it is Saturday now, just wait until you get to Knoxville. You probably want to save yourself a little since it is still around 45 hours until, "ITS FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEEEEEE!!!!!!!"

I know it will be raining tomorrow but your best scenery is between Nashville and Knoxville. Hopefully, you will can enjoy it on the way back while reminiscing about what could have been.

Good Luck and enjoy your visit. Safe Travels!
