I usually drive around Nashville anyway. When I drive west, I get off at Crossville, go south through Murfreesboro, and get back on 40 at Jackson. I don't go through Nasville unless I have to be there.

Just put the media on ignore and they will eventually just go away. We do things how we do things and they of course can do no wrong. So what? None of them have their houses in order. Take the high road and stop giving them the attention they crave. That will hit em where it hurts the worst

Not a big Herbstreit fan but he is correct. Wish we would move on from this incident. I'm thinking trolls love keeping this going. It does absolutely nothing positive for UT athletics supporters.

Ole boy Herbie just needs to be reminded why he’s in Nashville every so often. Herbie has a soft spot for Knoxville, he was newly married but enjoyed himself and the young ladies at Cool Beans on his working weekends.

I haven’t seen the replay yet, and yea, the know what happened on that play. No, I say screw them, and I tell all Tennessee fans to never shut up about it, keep on going. Don’t let that play die, nor shut up about it.

There has been other games that Tennessee has played and they have skipped plays on that was bad calls. A lot of the media hasn’t mentioned that play at all. No, it wasn’t that play that started it. If you are going to review a game like that, you have to include the biggest parts of the game, and the fumble was the biggest. Kirk always has done this, skipping big plays. It isn’t just us, but there has been other teams that gets it, we’re unfortunately the biggest one out of all of them.

we were lucky that the ogre gone story broke the next day.

have to admit that i didnt want to go online sunday or monday so i would not be subjected to the media rush to judgment

This is simply nothing more than another attempt at moral grandstanding by a talking head in the media and general public. It’s pointless and solves nothing just like actions themselves. By and part, outside of a small amount of money to a university that would change most our lives, nobody really cares. Those of you clutching your pearls to defend the classless and embarrassment argument ask yourself this basic question: what was the message behind the actions of a few belligerent UT fans? Outside of a thump on Lil Kiffy’s head, was anybody in any real danger? If you want to discuss class and embarrassment the other 59 minutes of taunting and body language by the Ole Miss team shows you all you need to understand where that golf ball came from. It went too far but it’s not reprehensible.
