I LOVE that these media talking heads will "FEEL BAD FOR TENNESSEE" because of the trash being thrown, but won't say a word about the trash that was on the field for the fifty five minutes leading up to that debacle. "Oh I feel so bad for Tennessee." "Oh this is such a shame." Oh yeah Kirk? Well where were ya when Marc Curles stole that touchdown from Tennessee? Where were ya at when Ole Miss had a dozen guys "get injured" on defensive series? What's that? You don't give a damn about the awful officiating? Or the embarrassment Ole Miss made of the game? Oh I see, all of that is just PEACHY KEEN but when the fans get fed up, now you're ready to wade in and pass judgment.

If the fans hadn't melted down, nobody would be talking at all about that game today. They sure wouldn't be bringing up the thieving officiating or the injury clown show. Nope. That's just all "part of the game" for these hot air factories.

Herbstreit talking is like nails on chalkboard.

Why is everyone acting like this is the first time fans have thrown stuff?

I still don't understand why they're acting like this is the first time in history this has ever happened at a sporting event.

I’ve never been much of a “ESPN hates us” kind of guy, but it does seem like they want us to just shut up and be happy with our 6-6 and fringe bowl berth. It really got bad after the Schiano thing. For some reason, they really set off a lot of people at ESPN.

How about commenting on the embarrassing reffing from Saturday night (and other games all season)?

How about commenting on how games deemed higher value would have likely had camera angles available that ours didn't?

The thing that gets me is I get gameday going to Georgia, but SEC nation as well? That made no sense and was a direct slap in the face to UT playing a night game with a great atmosphere and compelling storylines. Made no sense.

No mention of the fumble in the 1st half? That my friends is what he does. He skips the important parts of the game.
...... annnnnnd that was conveniently edited out of the SEC (ESPN affiliate) network replay of the game. ESPN KNOWS that was a botched call and had a direct bearing on the game. They want that to die and us to stfu.

It makes perfect sense.

I remember watching him hanging out at Cool Beans after a game trying to hook up with college girls while being married. He shouldn’t be casting stones.

Believe something of this nature is why he moved the family out of Columbus to begin with.

His college football statistics were not as satisfying as he wanted them to be. Kirk’s official college football statistics as a quarterback include 2,437 passing yards, 197 completions, 349 attempts, 11 interceptions, and only five touchdowns.

FIVE TOUCHDOWN PASSES. 😂

Agree. That's what started the whole thing and I've only read one media person reference it. All the others have pointed to the disputed first down call which was just the precipitating event.
