Food for thought. Tennessee beats Alabama. Georgia beats Tennessee. Alabama beats Georgia in Atlanta. Three one loss teams. Has that ever happened in the SEC and who makes the playoffs?

Stepping back, I don't want to give Georgia message board fodder or be that fan but if I wasn't a Tennessee fan but kept up with both teams, I would state this.

I don't think Georgia matches up that well with Tennessee right now. I think Tennessee's offense will score on Georgia's defense and get into their head. Heupel has a psychological advantage over opponents that I haven't seen since Spurrier with his offense. Georgia's offense has been iffy a lot (especially at throwing the ball) and Tennessee could simply out score Georgia like they did against Alabama last night.

I think Tennessee is a more serious concern for Georgia than people are letting on. I think they assume because it is in Athens, Georgia is just going to win.

However, we need to focus on Kentucky. That is a big game and Kentucky is no slouch even if I think Kentucky, also, doesn't match up well against Tennessee.

I think the one game for us to watch out for might be the @ South Carolina game.
Georgia fans are already running their mouth, but it's like someone who is running their mouth trying to convince themselves because they're scared.

Let me start by saying I can’t stand KH. He doesn’t like TN and I don’t like him. But I do like that he has us at 2 lol. And of course he puts Ohio State at 1

6 - Alabama
5 - Clemson
4 - Michigan
3 - Georgia
2 - Tennessee
1 - Ohio State
Freaking joke, OSU...
Is this a popularly contest.

Yeap, OSU homer……. He’s a POS!

POS
OSU

Pretty close to same thing…….
I'm still trying to figure out why osu is even in the top 4 with their resume. Then he thinks during a bye week they should move up to 1. Wow. He wants to make sure even with a loss to Michigan thier in. Last night the big 10 west game featured a #24 team and an unranked team and that was a battle for the top of the west. Good grief that's weak!

Here's a sampling of rankings from ESPN reporters not including KH
We have the most wins over ranked (at the time we played) opponents including the Bama #3 nail-biter.
the problem is that Pitt, Florida and LSU are not ranked in either poll last week
Perhaps LSU will be ranked this week following the UF win in Gainesville
KY ranked #22 at present and UGA #1 are our only remaining ranked opponents on the schedule

OSU beat highly ranked (at the time of play) Notre Dame#5 and they have Penn State #10 and Michigan #4 to come
UGA beat #11 Oregon still ranked top 15 and they face KY and Miss State & UT
Michigan trounced #10 Penn State and they face OSU and #24 Illinois
Clemson beat #10 NCSt and #11 Wake Forest and they face unbeaten Syracuse
Bama's only ranked win is vs #20 Arkansas & they only have #9 Mississippi remaining
None of the top 6 have much to brag about yet.

KIrk H is not out of line with his rankings and he is an articulate and knowledgeable football guy
who like most of the pundits picked Bama to win vs UT.

How ESPN's college football reporters see the current playoff picture not that any of it really matters until the season ends
We just have to stay focused on every game and not let USCe, Missouri, or KY pick us off sleepwalking
If we beat UGA in Athens we have to face Bama again in the SEC championship - can we beat them twice?
There is way too much football to be played to get bent out of shape over mid-season rankings now
as long as we are in the top 6 picture we have a good shot at the playoffs
