Kirk Herbstreit On Vols- They have a lot of talent on that Roster

So Kirk did a radio interview the last day or so. One of his comments was that he thinks we will give West Virginia a run for their money, and that the Vols have more talent on their roster than most would lead you to believe. This is just a confirmation of what we all have been saying for a while now. We know we have the talent on this roster to compete with anyone in the country. We might not be a top 10 team by the end of the year, but we definitely have the horses to have a good season on rocky top. CJP hasn’t given much info to anyone about how good he believes this team will be, nor does he go out of his way to hype up any one player. Imo that is an indication that he likes what he sees and he’s perfectly content watching the media fumble around thinking this team is going to stink and go 5-7. All in all though, I was happy to see herby gives us some love on that interview because I feel are kids deserve some praise after all the hard work they’ve been putting in to make this year a good year on rocky top. 3 1/2 days until it’s football time in Tennessee again, AMEN!

Kirk always shows us some love but I agree with him and have said it before. There's much better than 4-8 talent on this team. Butch could get them here just couldn't do anything with them, like a dog chasing a car if you will. In all honesty this is the first year in a long time I can say I don't know what to expect out of a Tennessee football team. What I do think we see is a disciplined and well coached football team. I think the ceiling this year is 8-4 and the floor is 5-7. Myself, I think we go 6-6 or 7-5, 7-5 is us maybe stealing one we shouldn't. JMO but I'm looking forward to this season regardless.

^^^ This!!! Who cares what Herbie says about UT football???!!!! He needs to admit he was wrong to call us out on Schiano that his Alma Mater wouldn't even make as their interim HC. I don't give a flying duck what any of the ESPN guys say. I only watch ESPN and affiliates for the most part during NCAAF, UT basketball, UT baseball, UT softball, and the Little League World Series. I use to watch ESPN all the time. I pretty much refuse to watch Sports Center and most everything else on ESPN and the affiliates. If it weren't for the organization showing college football and our beloved Vols. I would say I hope they go BANKRUPT!!! DUK'EM ALL!!! They always have something bad to say about the Big Orange!!! By the way, I will watch Sports Center when they replay a VOLS WIN!!! Let's hope I start watching Sports Center a lot!!!

Herbie realizes WV is a joke of a program. UT might not be where we want, but we can certainly take them down.

Regardless, I enjoyed that game. I've not been big on Clemson since that Peach Bowl s*** show we were involved in.

Fowler....he never showed his face in this state for a while,showed up for the first time when it was either Oklahoma or Florida that came here when was ranked lol before that he hadn’t been here both were prime time games though still sick over butch’s game management in the Oklahoma game
