Temnessee was the most physical team Alabama played last year (of course he was their DC). I believe he's right.

Also, they won't know about Chubb until later in the week....

I just don't see a very good Georgia team when I watch them play. Of course, playing between the hedges and given what happened to them last weekend will play a factor but I still think that we kick their teeth in.

You can never really predict how teams will play. A lot of it has to do with the breaks early in the game. Some teams will fold. I think we know now that our team is not one of those. It feels good to know that we are never really out of a game until the clock strikes 0:00 with this team.

If.....IF....the team that showed up in the second half of UF makes a return appearance, we should be able to get a road win. If the first half version shows up, UGA will get to break out that hobnail boot again. They've got SEC talent. They aren't Appy St or Ohio. UT had better come ready to play quality football for 4 quarters.

I think Smart is doing a bit of a "premptive" strike in case he gets blown out by the VOLS.

I'm not saying that is going to happen, but it looks like we are playing a lot better at this stage than they are.

If we DO blow them out - a couple of things to share that are in my thoughts.

  • Maybe Florida was a pretender. Their wins were against very sub-par competition.
  • If Georgia is just as bad, isn't it amazing how weak the SEC-e has become?
  • Our two SEC-w games are against the best over there. Why can't we get an Auburn or LSU in a down year?

Yeah, but "unfortunately" we're 4-0 and our DC is UNDOUBTEDLY superior to last year's version. :wink2:

I think they'll be fine. They got punched in the mouth in their biggest game of the year so far and responded well. I just do think Georgia is playing good football and a week wont fix all that is wrong in Athens. Being at home helps but it wont help them cover, catch, or open holes on the line consistently.

Both teams actually could've conceivably entered this game winless. Neither one has put together four good quarters yet.

Careful about getting the big head going into this game. Anything can happen, and nothing comes easy. They will come play UT at home.

florida looks pretty good. It's hard to win on the road against solid competition--particularly in the second half if the home team makes a big play or two and the momentum swings. Crowd starts roaring, your guys (and they are young) start losing focus and missing assignments, and you've lost the game.

This game is a test of two things: UT's ability to handle prosperity, and UGA's pride.

So the same guy who had no opposition to Kublanows picture, witnesses the Florida game, and now thinks the better strategy is to compliment us.
