I'm not sure I'd call Alabama a "completely different team" at that point, but they were going to be much easier for UGA to beat without their top 2 receivers.
Not to mention it’s very hard to beat a team twice in 1 season. Especially one that has equal or better talent. If UGA and Bama meet in the SEC Title again this season I expect Bama to beat the breaks off of UGA if everyone is healthy.

Bama’s O line was lights out in the SECCG. UGA adjusted in the NCG and got way more pressure on the QB while also shutting down the running game. Add the WR injury and that’s the difference but I’d put line play at the top.

This. Bama could not run the ball and UGA never let Young get comfortable.
