ya know, two years ago, Pruitt bit the bullet by starting freshmen dBacks, and we got some depth and they played very well down the stretch last year and the first two games this year. But if he thinks JG is the best option for us to win, and we turn it over 3 or 4 times a game year after year, why can't he pull the trigger and get some playing time for other QBs? we're not winning, so try something different. We're gonna ride JG to the end of the season and next year we'll be at square one... again..

Yes, it's not a secret that Kirby is actually interested in winning the game. I just wish Pruitt had the same dedication to winning. You certainly won't win them all, and Georgia is certainly not winning this one, but it's nice to see people making effort to...

Didn't hesitate to switch QBs and with enough time left to actually affect the outcome of the game.
For what it's worth, UGA fans have been unhappy with Kirby because he has not switched QBs earlier in the season. Kirby may be better than Pruit, but I'm not sure the evidence you are presenting proves anything.

I thought the exact same thing. The other thing Kirby did was go for it from his own 20 with about 4 minutes remaining. It was absolutely the right decision (both times) yet we’ve seen Pruitt unable to pull the trigger on both of those moves. And Mullen proved his mettle by keeping the foot on the gas.

Just a silly post. A coach switching QBs makes them a better coach compared to whoever.

Like I stated, makes him a better coach than Pruitt who is too stubborn tomake the switch. It didn't pan out for GA, but at least they gave it a shot, bc they had zero with Stetson playing just like we have zero with JG playing.

And I believe Stetson injured his shoulder. So what's so great about switching QBs. That's all I'm saying.

No love for Pruitt, but complaining about his willingness to go for it on 4th down is pretty bizarre.

Not sure what you mean. It’s not a matter of how often they go for it on 4th. The point is we’ve seen Pruitt concede the game and punt late instead of going for it. I think the idea is the keep the opponents lead at like 20 or so instead of it being worse.

It effected it all right, wrong way but it definitely effected the game as it was basically over the second the switch was made, it was really over the second little man hurt his shoulder.

Yeah. Tends to happen when your starting qb has a separated shoulder. Dude I am as pissed jg is still in a starting position as anyone else, but you should probably reserve your eagerness to post until you know why smart switched qbs. By the way. The group ther qb had no business being in there.
