Does anyone else think it is strange that David Reaves is remaining on staff? Did Kiffin not offer to bring him out to USC? Kippy just said in the press conference that CDR was part of the team trying to salvage the recruiting class. I just thought this was interesting...

I personally don't want anyone in the Kiffin family around the program. They should tell him to pack his bags.

Yeah, I am not sure what to make of it. It just seems really strange. Maybe David truly liked Tennessee and didn't want to be a Lane-tag-a-long anymore?

Basilio reported that Reaves found out about it the same time all of us did. His own brother-in-law (and father-in-law) didn't tell him they were leaving.

Several players I'm friends with told me he as the worst guy on the staff and had no place with the rest of the coaches who were excellent. Send him packing

I personally don't feel comfortable with him around. I would be really interested to know how the conversation between Lane and David went down. Check that...he prolly made Layla tell him.

He is an a Kiffin in law for goodness sake, that is not necessarily the closest relationship. He had an SEC resume before he got here. I say give him a chance for the sake of some continuity of information and some relationship about recruits.

Monte called to apologize.

Monte is not his father-in-law, Layla (Lane's wife) is Reaves' sister. Check your facts first.

I never thought David would be brought to USC as OC. That was not his job here.

Of course Chow would be a better hire as OC. (Although as a diehard Titans fan, even that is debatable) I just figured he would make the move and become quarterbacks coach. We are all just speculating though. Maybe he really wanted to stay???

100% agree. Tell him what we should have told Lane.

You have 5 minutes to get your stuff out of you office and get off my campus or security will be instructed to remove you.

Man so much hatred toward Reaves. I feel bad for the guy. He gave up a great thing to come to UT. You can knock usc jr all you want but they have had much better results since spurrier came on board and it looks like it is going to keep getting better over there and he would have been a part of that. Now he's very much disliked by the lot of them. Where's he supposed to go? I mean you can't exactly put Kiffin or Spurrier on the resume now can yah? I know he's got connections so I'm not losing sleep over it but give the guy a break.

Resume: Get's a job with SOS due to connections of his dad with SOS.
Screws SOS on his way out.
Joins Tenn due to his connections through his sister with Lame AND his position to be used by Lame to embarrass or one-up-manship SOS.

I bet the offers pour in for this guy!
