Kinect sports is a blast, especially when you compete in the challenge and do some of the sprint or hurdle games.

I have the Dance game too, its fun but my wife loves it. Especially since it shows high scores of your XBL friends so she gets a little competitive and tries to beat everyone.

Well worth the investment and it will only get better as they come out with more games and learn more ways to use it.

Kinect chat is awesome too, we had it hooked up on Christmas and was able to see family in Florida on theirs when normally we wouldnt.

My wife picked up a kinect box yesterday, I have to say, it's pretty cool. It blows the wii away, I'll have to see what i can find for games for it.

It's really a whole different animal than the Wii. There's no controller or anything when playing the Kinect games, it's entirely body motion.

I'm pretty surprised that I like it as much as I do, need to get some different games for it.

I think it blows the wii out of the water easily. That said, they are in the same area code concept wise, I can't see a reason to have both if one will collect dust. If you're happy with the wii I wouldn't tempt the fates, as it will probably be put on the back burner.

We've had a Wii for years, and just got the Kinect this Christmas. Definitely similar, but the one HUGE advantage with Kinect is that it is much better for small children. My 4-year-old twins can't play the Wii because buttons are usually too difficult for them. However, they have already learned to play the Kinect and love it. Of course, it's a non-factor if your kids are old enough to use and time buttons correctly.

I like to use my son's gamertag to play Black Ops online and really screw up his scores. He really hates it when I do that. It's scary how much better he is than me at that game. Now, I can kick his @$$ at some eighties astroids . . . .

Got a Kinect for my birthday...I'm addicted. I've been playing Motion Sports, and the kids love the adventure game and the kinectimals. I'm guessing that better games are around the corner. Love it so far.
