With the new coach, the new philosophy, capable qbs at the helm, this year begs to be different. We have an actual guy that was a head coach at a winning program that has potential. Seems a lot different this year. Minimum of eight winnable games. Agree?

"You can call [Josh] Heupel’s offense simplistic, but the speed of it is the secret. Does have that talent right now? Probably not. The big thing to watch is the play-calling cadence. That offense is about speed and how you call it, how you call the first three plays to set up the big punch."

"Defensively they’re going to be bad, so get ready. They’re going to try to mix the formations but look for a lot of 4-2-5. They don’t have linebacker talent."

I am so feeling an undefeated season!

Right up till the fourth week. Then we will really know if the orange tint is real or not.

I am trying to Balance optimism about the new philosophy and apparent new culture against realism. The last three laps around this same new coach track (well, at least he is not <insert previous coach here>) have taught me to not get too emotionally invested too early. Once I see the product on the field, that may begin to change. But I am definitely ready to give the man a chance. Eventually we will strike gold. Maybe it will be with this swing of the pick. Fingers crossed 🤞

A season without JG at QB is bound to be more enjoyable.
Toooo many on here are hung up in the Jeremy Pruitt Jarrett Guarantano $#!T Show era. They really don’t realize how much speed and talent we still have on offense. Hard to see it when WRs don’t get catchable passes and the box gets loaded so our run game gets stuffed…simply because not a head coach in America was scared of JG beating them with his arm. Gonna shock some folks when this offense gets humming.

I have few expectations other than hopefully seeing them play with passion, speed, and a sense of team. No clue if Heupel is the man to lead us out of perdition or not.

I think the last decade or so has destroyed my hype receptors. Routes on Air and pressers no longer move the needle for me. I'll believe when I see it on the field.

The hope that springs eternal and the possibilities of a new coach being what we need always pull you in.
You know… the same way I trashed 5$ on powerball tonight.

I've thought this since before spring. I was willing to change my mind but haven't seen anything to warrant a change of mind yet. I think there are 8 very winnable games. I personally think that Ole Miss will be better than most expect and UK will be worse.

This is an undeniable fact that a lot seem to ignore. We have 4 guys at WR that can run a sub 4.5 or better in the 40 at WR, and 2 guys that can do the same at the RB position. We are one of the fastest teams in the SEC at the offensive skill positions.

Not really too big of a comparison to make to be honest. We always seem to have enough good players.

8 would be a huge turnaround!
