To say that she was sabatoged by her own assistant coaches? Once coaches are hired and players are recruited, there's plenty of time for that.

I thought the same thing. While we’re all curious about what’s happening and what she’s thinking, I actually believe it would be best if someone would announce that due to her extremely hectic schedule right now, Kim won’t be able to join the Caravan this year. She not only cannot afford time away from recruiting/hiring duties, she really cannot afford to risk making any major mistakes by doing things like publicly “opening her mouth to form and release words.” Best she leave the talking to others. It’d be a good time for Jenna to learn how to talk, IMO.

I'm convinced that if she goes to the Big Orange Caravan, the reception she gets from Vol Nation in general will be.... less than warm. Wouldn't put it past some people to openly confront her

He's only losing his job if football goes down the crapper (and it very well could); that combined with the struggles of baseball and the women's team would give off the impression of an athletic department in turmoil, at which point Donde would have to step in and do what she has to do.

If football manages to at least go 8-4 - without losing to Vandy or KY - Danny can keep the status quo. 9-3 or better and he's beyond safe; 7-5 or worse and things will start to get very uncomfortable

To a fanbase that the loudest section is showing hate for a 2nd year HC. I'd say she's locked in on getting the right players this time around with a better assistant coach evaluators. This will be the last year if not, I think the coaches went for MCD players without enough assessment just trying to say on on paper we got the #2 class that & 3$ will get you a loaf of bread. They were worse in the portal ended up with toxic players and the returners for UT Coop & Z needed on floor leader they were all followers and then lose Ruby.
Doing stupid stuff like wasting 2 spots to get one player to win the recruiting battle by bring along a sibling that is a DII player, was ridiculous. I think you need to get behind the team because IMO their going to bring in Ferrari from FSU and if things go totally bad he may be interim coach as the season goes along. It is what it is, taking pot shots at the team to relieve some of your anxiety is not helping the team and brand move forward in the long run. You are doing auxiliary damage to the brand that you supposedly love. It just cements this is a coaching graveyard, with a fan base that wants the final 4 every year in a conference that had 5 or 6 potential F4 teams. USC, Vandy, LSU, Texas & Oklahoma to name 5 it is gauntlet. Name any top coach that would come here to hear that's not how Pat would have done it, "by gawd' as they spit tobacco & it runs down their chin. ;)
CKC is going to be the HC just get behind the team and then bring your torches and pitchforks out in December next year if that's what your mode of operandi is.

You think Lady Vols basketball will cost DW his job. It is not valued as much as you think it should be in today’s college world. It’s about money and they do not fund the program.

I'm not saying people should act that way, nor am I encouraging people to act that way. Just saying that knowing our fanbase, somebody most likely will act that way (but hey, at least we don't poison trees!)

Spot on. FB is the golden egg for $ at most universities. Largest fan base per game + big TV $. All the non-revenue sports, that spend more $ than they bring in, which includes most all except possibly mens BB, are subsidized by FB. That is DW's top sports priority as it needs to be.

According to AOL and Yahoo Sports the value of the women's NCAA basketball tournament is about 65 million dollars. The men's basketball tournament is valued at more than 1 billion dollars. So the women's tournament value is about 6% of the men's.
