I watched a documentary the other day that blew my mind. The pyramids at giza couldnt even be built with cranes that are used today because of the size and precision of some of the 100plus ton stones used. Also, jars, hundreds of them, have been found that we cant make today with modern drills or tools due to their shape...there is no way to remove the material inside to hollow them out the way they were shaped. I cant figure it out...neither can anyone else. Also, in a city in mexico dated by some scientists as the oldest city in the world...a city built perfectly oriented to the stars above like the pyramids...the stone walls are made of several ton perfectly hewn stones where you cant fit a sewing needle in the several foot long joints...the walls were built without mortar and when the top stones were removed...you could see that all the stones were joined together by perfectly routed out key shapes that were then poured with METAL keys that held the stones in place. The builders had to pour liquid iron/steel keys in place, at different spots all around this city and its walls...thousands of years before the bronze age. The city is dated 10,000 to 15,000 years old with most scientists saying it was built 12,000 years ago based on many things including the way the structures are oriented to line up with various constellations and planets etc. Based on their positions 12,000 years ago.

The name of the Mexican city is about 20 letters long but i believe it started with a T.

It seems that there were civilizations very advanced many thousands of years ago on earth that could do things we still cant do. All of them align with stars also. I am not a conspiracy person, or anything like that...but i think that there is a good possibility that alien technology was involved in some of these things. It was either aliens or God himself, and scripture doesnt mention them so....

Edit...in the same city above there isba temple that has a 90 foot square piece of mica used in its construction as an insulator? They think...90 foot square...it came from brazil 2000 miles away. How did a civ. 12,000 years ago move anythimg that huge 2000 miles? How could they move it 2000 inches even? This is before any means of transportation even existed besides a horse.

Some places say it is from 800bc...but the documentary i watched showed scientists who have been studying it and believe that it is 12000 years old. It translates to the city where Gods are made..and has many things im common with giza egypt, including carvings in stone where the people look exactly the same and the same Gods..as well as the architecture itself. Nobody knows who built the city either...crazy stuff man.

This has been discussed before.

1) I take the position that there is a lot we just don't know or flat have wrong about the ancients. Their supposed intelligence and technology level vs some of their engineering feats don't seem to add up.

2) Aliens are a problem. If it was aliens, why primitive building materials like stone? Why not amazing metal alloys, nanotechnology, etc.

3) As for aliens and scripture (Abrahamic religions), most theology just doesn't allow for their existence.

I agree with all 3 points pkt...i just cant make sense of it. I wonder how many times mankind has flourished and advanced before now? For all we know, buried 1000 feet underground could be civilizations far far nore advanced than we are now that were wiped out...or even left earth...who knows?

One can make a case for any city to be aligned with stars; given that there are over 9000 visible to the human eye on a clear night

Me too now that i reread it. Christianity does allow for the existence of aliens as do others...it just doesnt mention them. If we made contact tomorrow with aliens, it wouldnt make me doubt the Lord. God himself is actually an alien, if by alien we are saying. One who is not from planet Earth...and just becquse he created us in His image doesnt mean he didnt create other beings elsewhere. There are Brazilians of planets, there are almost certainly other intelligent life forms. Just because i make a pizza for lunch, doesnt mean i wont make a cheeseburger for supper. God made us at 1 time, he certainly could have made other folks at other times...or simultaneously...he is God. Thats what he does.

While it is certainly possible that God made alien races, that would most certainly create some theological issues we would need to contend with.

And it's a great jump of theology to think that just because there are so many planets and stars, there must be other alien races. The Bible seems to state that they (the heavens) were created for our benefit (to glorify God and as signs and seasons to us).

I'm not sure about all that. Theoretically, they would have went through a lot of metal at some point. If so, that is fairly visible, especially in large irregular chunks.

it's also possible that it's all a tier system. The dieties that we know are actually aliens who explained their God to us as they know more about creation. God is real but other life forms know about it that we do. Aliens don't show themselves as they did now because are developing our own knowledge and explaining things scientifically as opposed to earlier in history where we explained everything by magic or godly acts.

Sure, "God" can be an alien.

However, most theology holds God to be an immaterial, omni-3 entity that created humans and Earth as his centerpiece. In other words, the stars/rest of the universe was created for Earth. Then you have the problem of original sin. Were the aliens corrupted as well?

We are in a 500 year steady advance in technology that may make it difficult for us to imagine a time when generation were less technologically advanced than their ancestors. Be it war,famine, disease, or natural disaster, there are many ways for civilization to collapse.

I agree. It would be akin to current civilization being wiped out and covered without any trace, despite future geological studies of the Earth's crust, excavations, dive discoveries, etc. It just isn't logically plausible.

I believe that the Bible argues strongly in this direction. While not ruling out E.T. life, the problem of original sin, Christ coming to Earth, and the future destination of Heaven being on the restored New Earth all point toward us being God's singular life creation.
