Dooley refused to talk about the 25 year streak in preparations for UK and did not address it with the team at all. TN wins. Kiffin on the other hand built his whole motivation last week on USC’s 9 game streak against ND, and USC players cracked under the pressure. Bad coaching IMO.

Per Orange County Paper:

Kiffin’s motivational tactics for Notre Dame week included reminding his players of all the hard work and sacrifice previous Trojans had put in to compile the eight-game series winning streak that ended Saturday.
“They’ve got a lot of great players, great coaches and great fans counting on them to make it into nine,” Kiffin said last week.
He said Sunday that Johnson and others might have felt that weight on their shoulders.
“None of them ever imagined we were going to lose this game,” Kiffin said.

Give me a break

That's what I told him. I suggested he do more research on the fact. He responded with "do a little research? Lol you continue to be a stereotypical southerner. #stupid. Talkin to me about my progrAm like you know".

He continued with "we have 70 schollies right now. We are taking 30-35 this year while losing 18. Do the math buddy.looks like plus 17-22 to me."

And my personal favorite, "this is our lowest count we will have. THIS year. U ppl want so badly for the sanctions to destroy us w/o comprehending #facts."

I told him he's an idiot because there's no way they're signing that many, he said, "lol oh we aren't? Is that what CEO and CLK told you? You are proving your ignorance #smartsoutherner."
