Kiffin's USC Press Conference

It was very pathetic at how atrocious he is at answering questions. I mean my God, while he is at USC he really needs to enroll in a public speaking class or something.

You guys are seeing THE Lane Kiffin that all of us (opposing fans) have been seeing. I tried to tell you guys he was arrogant, you said confident. I said he was clueless, you guys said energetic. I will leave you with this. Your program is better without him. He is the over rated son of a good NFL coach.

"I don't know that you don't know that we know what we know now to be inaccurate." When asked about CEO calling UT recruits.

Translation=yes he did, my staff to this point has no credibility.

We were not acting out last night because we were angry that the puke left us after doing so many "great" things and we thought it may be over for TN (it's a NEW BEGINNING). We were acting out because we felt violated and betrayed!! Doesn't that son-of-a-gun know the difference?

I just got to listen to the presser so I assumed it was Steve Phillips grilling him over the recruiting issue. I am hearing it was a L.A. Times reporter. Was Phillips opening "weak" question his only one? Why did WBIR even send him. He should have been the one asking the tough questions.

A friend of mine put it so eloquently as we heard this "Lane Kiffin, word smith."

I never knew that the level of hatred that I have for that man existed...until tonight. I'd join in on the Rammer Jammer if Bammer ever played against that piece of trash.

He is totally lying. Trying to bend words saying "I believe it to be innacurate." He is a snake, and everyone in the country is seeing it. He fumbled over words here and there and had no clue what to do when the reporter pressed him to answer. There will be violations for Orgeron telling kids not to enroll and they will be reprimanded for their decisions.

He can have the state of California, the real players are here in the south and we will continue dominance over any other conference.

I was wondering if it is a violation to tell these kids not to go to class cause if they do, they're committed to that school's athletic program. Can these coaches really do that? I wonder what the NCAA is going to say about that.

I would love to punch him in the face also.. He is nothing but a little rich spoiled brat.. we gave him a job when he did not have one.. I still would 69 his wife all day long though!!!

I read in another thread saying retailers will donate all "Kiffin" shirts to Haiti. I think that is wrong. The Haitians have suffered enough.

I've been trying to figure this out. A couple of things. Were they officially coaches for USC? If it wasn't official yet then they would not be permitted to recruit on their behalf.

Here's another one, with those kids already enrolled at UT (with classes starting today) was this tampering? If a recruit has signed a LOI another team can't continue to recruit them. I don't know the rule for sure on early enrollees. At what point are they 'off limits'.

At the very least it was slimy, but I'm wondering if anything serious could come of it.

Not sure what the rule is, but I would think it's either got to be "tampering" or they were calling recruits during a dead period, both of which are violations. But who are we kidding here, rules are meant to be broken for these slimeballs. I hope the NCAA just hits USC that much harder.

I don't know. Think about who she sleeps with and that will kill any good rise.

I just went to the ncaa.org website. Now I'm not sure about the wording but I think from what I read on the coach's rules that there might possibly be some type of violation regarding contact with a recruit. I agree with you guys... if Kiffin and his boys contacted any of our students on or off campus after they took on USC's mantra, then I think the ncaa needs a huge magnifying glass to take a long hard look then do something. I agree with the guy from espn who said, this took us by surprised but we will be better in the long run.

I just listened to the little question session.

Kiffin sounds like a moron who dodged everything difficult that was asked of him.
