Whoopdie ****!!! Kentucky, South Carolina, Vandy, Miss. State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Bama as far as I know are in a BCS CONFERENCE and have not gone to a BCS GAME so just b/c he is coaching in the SEC means he deserves OVER 2mil???? That is loony!!!!

Bama? Really? Who did they play last year in a bowl? Oh, that's right. Utah. And, what bowl was that? Oh, that's right... the Sugar Bowl... a BCS bowl. "As far as you know" says it all. Go away.

I have lost faith in you Volnation I thought you were open minded and not willing to be led on by bull**** but I was wrong. I'm not saying I don't like the guy or what he has done so far, but what I am saying is that if someone gave you over 2mil to run their company than they would deff. expect better I hope he can still prove that he is better than that. All i'm saying is that the contract is EXCESSIVE for what he has done to this point. If we would have given Fulmer a contract like this after going 3-3 that you all would be flipping your ****... right or wrong?

Most of these terms were discussed and agreed to prior to the season starting. Furthermore, to be 3-3 with the lack of depth/talent we have in key positions is a minor miracle. Please stop typing. I've proven you wrong about 3 times now.

FWIW, Fulmer was making close to $3 million when the Vols went 5-7 last season.

Your arguments have no merit, R. Kelly.

We gave Failmer SIX MILLION DOLLARS... to LEAVE.

Not coach, not do anything, just leave.

And Kiffin pulls together a top ten recruiting class after a late start as well as one of the best, if not the best, staff in the country and you complain that we are paying him too much... because of 3 losses... during a rebuilding process?

You are seriously one of the most foolish posters I have ever seen not just on this board.

So foolish in fact, that you have brought me out of lurking just to rebuke you.

Why don't you understand the contract was agreed upon when Kiffin was hired. It's not unusual for it to be signed later after all of the lawyers look at it over and over.

Everything R. Kelly says has been proven wrong. I'm thinking it's either someone who is really drunk, or a small child.

I wanted to get rid of Fulmer just as much as the rest of you Look at the original posting I made. Point is, the first agreement was excessive and this one goes way beyond what he has actually done for the team.:whatever:

Let's put it this way..If a CEO is fired from a company, the CEO cannot be expected to some extent, to work with the employees he/she was left with. The CEO needs time to rebuild employees (hire/fire) to suit the new Operators needs and that takes time...get it?

I'll be happy to say I told you so when we end up paying him Millions to LEAVE w/o taking us to a bowl game.

Support the team dude, Fulmer is gone. Kiffin is the coach. We pay him a reasonable salary for the level of job he has.

Kiffin will have great success here.

Get over it.
