You are wrong. Calling a community poor, calling out a coach when you are wrong in the first place, talking big all season and then picking up one quality win are all embarrassments, in my opinion, to the program. I'm sure I left out many this was just off the top of my head. He really is a spineless bastard. Just realize it.

Well I may just have to go to a buddies that has HBO to watch this...I am thinking it will sound alot like what he said this time last year about his approach to TN.

Kiffin will be a good coach, would have been a good coach for Tennessee, but I am not sure he would have done it the right way. Now does that mean I want somebody to lose the right way over winning and bending some rules and stepping on alot of toes along the way? No.

But I would much rather Win the right way, over winning and looking like a jackass at the same time.

We can come out of this situation better, we just have to wait and see.

Are you really gonna put Kiffin on that high of a peddle stool? He isn't above his actions or should it just be forgotten that he ridiculed a town. If a coach said that about Knoxville the place would be up in arms. I think it was very disrespectful, inappropriate, and embarrassing to the UT name.

Great analogy. I wish we could post this on the front page of the message board, in bold, so all of these Sheep would stop bleating about that loser. They are so freaking pathetic, and it is beyond embarrassing that even a segment of our fan base even stoops to hanging onto the guy.

Go to the USC boards and see how they are laughing at the jilted Kiffin lovers who just cannot let go.

Have some pride, and let him go. Please let him go.

If it is ok for a coach to leave after one year, then is it ok for a school to fire a coach after one year too?

Seems like a double standard. Used to be the time frame coaches got was 3-4 years.

Agreed. UK fans defend their basketball coach who has put multiple schools on probation. Bama fans defend a pathological liar who seems to be regarded as an ass by everyone he meets. Florida fans defend an overly emotional pseudoman who has cried over the game on multiple occasions.

In many different sports in the US and around the world, people have defended players and coaches who cheated on their wives. People, more or less, forgot about the fact that Belichick spied on other teams. People seem to have stopped caring about ARod and steroids. People even defended Tiger Woods after the affairs became public.

But for some reason, we were supposed to be really embarrassed about Lane Kiffin because he gave Urban Meyer a hard time? I'm not buying it. I'm mad at him because he left and hurt the program. I'm not embarrassed at all that he hurt Meyer's feelings.

To double my salary and Daddy's too I might jump ship but they won't keep him long if he does not win and I mean win big quickly....Reports he got 4mil and Daddy 2mil.
