Kiffin's Got A Lot To Prove

An unprecedented slap in the face against Frank Beamer. What's Lane's motivation for that and what does it show his fans and players?

He did the hand shake at the center of the field, what do you want him to do, bow to him and kiss his feet? VT finally go there little win against a poor UT team, so celebrate, and stop whining about respect.

Just for the record, I thought Fulmer needed to be replaced. I'm just saying that right now, Lane still has much to prove. Hopefully with a little over a month to recruit he'll do better than he did with a little over a month to prepare for a game.

Ah, the Kiffin koolaid is so sweet! Drink more boys. Everything is so much better than it used to be. Drink, drink, drink!

I've read your obtuse and asine posts enough. You sir are a moronic *ss. I assume you fled to Alaska after everyone you knew disowned you.

Go jump in a lake.

I hope you were not one of the idiots booing! Kiffin, myself and anyone with any football sense could see that our OL could not protect the QB in obvious passing situations (witness last play). He called the right play!

Yeah, I was one of the many thousand that booed...no, wiseguy, it obviously wasn't the right play to call...is that you Randy Sanders?:birgits_giggle:

Its going to take this year's recruiting class and next years, to start getting the quality depth needed.

Why is a Hokie fan on here, talking about manners. VT beat us, and your crying about manners? Please, go back to the craphole state of Virginia.

This was an important game for both teams. Best non-BCS bowl. Hard fought. A lot of talent on both sidelines. National spotlight. Take it from there -

The people in this thread lambasting Kiffin don't get this. They think that just because we are UT we should win, not realizing that talent was not being recruited to Knoxville in a manner that we need to compete. They are part of the legions of the miserable.

A lot more talent at the line of scrimmage on the VT side, but that will change as Kiffin gets a couple more recruiting classes.

Or maybe some of us just think we should be able to keep it closer than 23 points.

A man looks another man in the eyes, win or lose.

Since you keep whining about this, I am going to post this:

Maybe Kiffin couldn't bear to look at his face with that skin craft.

The above statement is not classy, but just let it go. Your team dominated UT on both sides of the ball, so enjoy it and don't take offense to a coach's hand shake.
