Come on home Lane. We still love you!!!

I just puked all over my other keyboard and tossed it in the trash.

Thanks alot Jackson, LOL!

I wish the NCAA would ban him from coaching forever.

Suppose we went out there and hired Tee Martin this winter. Tee accepts the job and moves back to Knoxville. Would the USC people have a reason to be mad?

I think he's done that to himself already once he gets fired from his dream job.

He keeps landing on his feet. I bet that if he loses his job at USC, he will land a job a U. of Texas or maybe even Philadelphia Eagles.....
He is a good salesman and A.D's and owners believe him....

Al Davis was right about him.....Texas will not hire him....no pro organization Is going to touch him but pros will more likely before colleges. I don't want his name associated ever again with Tennessee football. Nor do I want Petrino either.....

I don't get he Kiffin obsession. He left for his dream job with more money and easier recruiting.

Dude, it is the way he left. Literally on a midnight plane without so much as a kiss my ***, thanks for the orange flip flops!

Not anytime soon IMO. He aint coaching in the cut throat SEC anymore. They'll give him more time there. He'll likely fire his daddy and make some changes which buys him more time to suck it up.

Best thing ever was looking on FSN's website and seeing

"Dad, We Need to Talk" haha.....

Let's face it, there was a much higher probability of Kiffin succeeding at USC and that likely played a part in his decision to leave. USC is one of the few programs more prestigious than UT. If USC didn't have a head coach it would still wind up with a top-10 recruiting class every year. And on top of everything else, it's in a relatively weak conference that just expanded and got weaker.

If Lane can't win there, he would not be winning here. With a virtually limitless supply of athletes, a killer staff, and an institution in a position to automatically get 9 wins a year he is struggling. There's no way we would be competing had he been here.
