Ok, I've read through all the posts and I'm confused? When and what time is CLK going to be on? Tonight or tomorrow? People on stating on here that they are going to miss it, but I though it was coming on tomorrow? I've got DirectTV. Any idea what channel and time? :confused:

Tide/FL fans will be just as interested in what CLK has to say as we are. More fuel to the fire is the objective.

Oh man, this is gonna be good. Look out Urban, Lane has the mic. I will be curious to see if he has one good thing to say about Florida (maybe for the players sake he will).

I wonder if this is true. If it is , gameday had to have known what they were doing when they asked Lane. Talk about a controversial pick.

I don't think you have to worry about CLK and recruiting. He would be stupid if he turned down a chance to be on college gameday. It's all about getting the Power T out there.

As a Gator fan, I'm happy for Lane. This gig could give him some constructive to do for many SECCG's to come. Maybe he'll set some kind of record for most consecutive appearances on College Game Day.

I think you will definately see CLK at the SECCG for many years to come. If they want him as an analyst, they'd better hurry because there is a small window of opportunity for that.

CLK is gonna be up there wearing the UT logo, making jokes with herby and desmond, trying not to crack up when corso "speaks"....

Talk about being on the recruiting trail... he'll instantly be in everyone's living rooms talking football and TN won't even be playing this weekend.
In fact, our two biggest rivals will be playing each other to decide who is going to the NC and TN will be getting just as much exposure as them!! Unprecedented....

With Kiffin reportedly on GameDay for the SECCG, think he might be interviewing possible coaching replacements for our staff after the game (Billy G.), or does he make it back for practice and recruiting weekend or does he go via satellite? predictions?

Highly, highly doubt he'd get Billy G. I'd think it would be more likely if Billy G goes anywhere it is with Charlie Strong, if and when he gets a HC job.

I think the best thing he gets out of this is national exposure for recruits.

Not Lane he can't make it through a whole episode of "the Lane Kiffin show" much less a guest segment on gameday.

I agree that it was a smart decision by Kiffin, but you're fooling yourself if you think that UT will get anywhere near the positive press that Florida and Alabama will this weekend.

When recruits tune in for the game, you can bet their thought is 'I want to play in the game' and not 'I want to play for the guy mumbling cheapshots at the guys who actually made it to the game'.

3 years of lurking hmmmm. welcome to the show. UT may not get all the positive press that UF/UA get this wknd and rightly so b/c they are in the SECCG, but UT is going to be represented so that in itself will make recruits take notice. Take notes HS sophs and jrs, the VOLS are climbing back and will soon be in this game representing the SECE.
