First of all, it's Kiffin. Not Kiffen. Or Kiffan. Or Kiffon.

Everybody's talking about taking/wanting him back, but with an "airtight" contract to prevent what happened last go-around.

After the s**t show we just saw from this AD, do you really believe they are capable of producing such an ironclad, lead pipe cinch contract so overwhelmingly favorable to Tennessee?

Nah. I'm not even sure we have good lawyers.

What grounds do we have to put Kiffin’s contract in our favor? We’re clearly desperate as hell and he would hold all the cards

Kiffin corrected and said he is not waiting by the phone :)

As Tennessee again finds itself engulfed in flames, Lane Kiffin waits by his phone Not waiting at all! Getting this team ready to win its 9th straight against a great north Texas team. Come to the championship here in Boca Dennis at #thefaU

whats he suppose to say yes im sitting by the phone like a teenage girl waiting for it to ring GEESH

Kiffin really needs to tread lightly. His AD at FAU may walk in and fire him on the spot if he spends most of his day sending out feelers for other jobs. No P5 Program will touch Lane for obvious reasons but I guess he can feel good that he has a "Sixteen Magazine type Fan Club" in Knoxville if he ever breaks down on I-75 and needs help.

-His current OC is accused of using sex to get recruits to Baylor

It is my understanding that Currie was having a $20 million buyout written in Schiano's contract - if he had actually been hired... with a $3.6 million salary to start. Go figure... I suppose this just goes to give us a better picture of Curries incompetence as an Athletic Director. John Currie learned his incompetence from the "best"... Hamilton had a $800,000 buyout in Kiffin's 2008 contract, and that's why it was so easy for USC to get him in 2009. So, I don't blame Kiffin so much as I blame Mike Hamilton's incompetence.

This could be the biggest troll ever if Kiffin begs for an offer just to turn us down. How embarrassing would that be?
