Kiffin wins 9 games next year

He won less than 9 games 3 out of 4 years at USC and you think he is going to win 9 games the first year at Tennessee :pilot:

8-4 easy. There is enough talent on the offensive side of the ball for his team to put up points.

He has JG who has 3 more years left. If Hurts as a true freshman can put up numbers under Kiffin, no reason to think JG couldn't put up great numbers as a RS Sophomore.

John Kelly, Chandler, and CFA are coming back.

Tons of talent returning at WR and TE.

OL would be interesting. However, Kiffin WOULD get Cade Mays committed.

It would all come down to defense and who he brings. I wouldn't be too upset with his brother as DC and Monte as an "analyst."

However, I would want Kiffin to look at Steele or Chavis.

I definitely think Kiffin with this offensive roster to put up enough points to improve 3-4 games from 4-8 season

I doubt they will go and offer Kiffin at this point with all that's happened with this search. I wish they would, but I have no idea why they wouldn't go offer Tee at this point. I love my Vols, but if they won't even offer these 2 I can't support them until the Haslems and Currie are gone. This is ridiculous!

Of course he did. He has a championship to focus on for Saturday.

Ya...go look at the circumstances he was working with out there

I know what the circumstance were. In his 3rd year, they were consensus preseason #1 in the country, and quite possibly had the most underachieving year in the history of football, finishing at 7-6. they lost to Georgia Tech in the bowl game 21-7. It was so much fun watching the meltdown.

any other questions?

Kiffin is a disease. That assessment is based on far more than just the underhanded way he left Tennessee.

You may turn a blind eye to his weak character, lack of integrity, and immaturity in hopes of winning more ball games. I won't.

We can win, and win big, win championships, with a coach whose character serves as a role model for our players, year in and year out.

No to the disease.

Like nick saban is a model human being... most good coaches are Arseholes.

How many scholarship players took the field?

With a healthy team.

Only Bama, Auburn and UGA would be favored.

This isn’t hard. No time for hurt feelings in life or business.

This! His current team is coming off 3 consecutive 3-9 seasons. This year they are about to sweep their conference and they are in the top 10 nationally in at least three major offensive statistics. Dude can coach. His only real coaching blemish was the ncaa sanctioned Trojan teams...who were still ranked most of his time there. In fact, that might have been some of his best coaching when you consider how bad teams get when they are on serious probation. The idea that he was out there with a decked roster laying eggs is just not reality. It is criminal if we don't get him back here now. He will be back somewhere big soon. Dude is a good football coach, come on!

Underhanded way he left? Explain

1. He told TN from DAY 1 he would leave for USC if they ever called
2. He called a press conference to explain why he was leaving. Did Mullen call one at miss state?

Maybe TN fans overreacted a bit?

YOU are the type of fan that is the disease to this program. Just like Currie you claim you want to win but then expect someone like Doeren or Butch Jones to be able to do it and then act surprised when they don't.

You need to put your energy and support towards a reliable coach. Kiffin will never have the chance to coach here again.

As sick as this is to think about, you gotta know, the incompetents from the Swamp on the Hill are keyed in on it and before this Saturday is their deadline. A ninth win by Kiffin and FAU would only increase the clamor. So now they are targeting Sumlin who can recruit but folds in the SEC Butchesque. So Kiffin, like him or not, is affecting the coaching search while the shifty's prepare to hand us second or third best again.

come on man have a since of humor LOL . Thats all that was and everyone takes it like he crapped on the state flag. KIffin is known for being a jokester thats why the kids love him. The only ones that dont get it is the older crowd. IM old but i get it and think its funny as hell

I have a "sense" of humor. I laughed at it. My point which you missed is that I wouldn't be surprised if the reason he is trolling us is that his ego is upset that he hasn't gotten the opportunity to turn us down himself. Imagine how good he would feel to turn away TN.
