Kiffin wins 9 games next year

Kiffin is a disease. That assessment is based on far more than just the underhanded way he left Tennessee.

You may turn a blind eye to his weak character, lack of integrity, and immaturity in hopes of winning more ball games. I won't.

We can win, and win big, win championships, with a coach whose character serves as a role model for our players, year in and year out.

No to the disease.
who is this coach you speak of

You must not know me well. I don't rant. And I rarely post uninformed. That makes you 0 for 2.

Could regurgitate all the strikes against Kiffin's character, judgment and integrity over the years, starting in Oakland and moving on to every stop he has ever made in college football. But don't need to, it is easily available if you're not blind.

Kiffin is a disease. Cheap gamble for short-term gain in the form of some wins (no championships, but some wins) in exchange for a rotten program over time.

Nope.

Another holier than thou Vol Fan.....

Hey all you Kiffin fans, make sure he uses Vaseline!

Don't understand how someone could be so excited about a person who kicks them in the nutts, knowing he'll do it again the first chance he gets. And he's still kicking you in the nutts by trolling you on twitter and you still love the guy! smh. He like your pimp. You should be embarrassed. Have some freaking pride people!

Don’t be emotional. No room for that in business.

This is just uninformed ranting.

First, players love Lane. He developed great offenses at Bama and remains in contact with many of them. He's a player's coach.

Immaturity? OK, he's a frat boy. He likes woman. And Johnny Majors? Great coach. Once wanted to change UT's colors from Orange and White to Scotch and Soda.

Everyone has faults. Lane's were more public. But let's stop with the "everyone else is a saint". They weren't. They drank, caroused, cussed, gambled ... and they WON.

And...He named his son Knox.:)

Yes

FAU Should easily win 9 games next year.

I doubt Kiffin will be at FAU next year . He will be at FLA ST or Arkansas . WE will be slugging it out with VANDY for the bottom of the SEC cellar . Keep being stubborn and thats where we are headed . WAIT WE ARE THE BOTTOM OF THE SEC

The same Lane Kiffin that tweeted a photo of Kim Jong Un in a TN shirt and said that even he has turned down the Vols head coaching job? That Lane Kiffin is the one we are clamoring for? Don't get me wrong I will take him over most of the coaches being talked about but I'm not certain that he is not really mad because he hasn't gotten a chance to tell us no himself. His ego would love for us to come crawling back to him and he get the chance to say no more than he would like to coach here again.

Another holier than thou Vol Fan.....

Be honest. How many of you who are giving Lane a pass booed him when he walked into Neyland with AL?
How many of you said you would never want him back in TN?

Now how many of you would be overlooking the OVERWHELMING evidence that he is still an entitled rich kid if we weren't in the situation Currie put us in.

And what in the heck has he won, on his own, to deserve the benefit of the doubt?

I wouldn't attack anyone as "holier than thou" just because they have an opinion of Kiffin that hasn't changed 180°since two weeks ago.

Did I want UT to beat his candy a$$ while at Bama? Of course. However, we aren't in our current state because of him.

Our AD knew that he would likely jump at USC if it ever opened up.

Our AD wrote a piss poor contract that allowed him to leave and UT not really make any money on that.

Our AD panicked on Dooley because they were to cheap to buyout the Kiffin holdovers and instead, force them on the new coach. Cutcliffe comes if the AD and Admin were knuckleheads.

Our AD let Charlie Strong go back to UL without signing a contract and settled on Butch who had competing offers from Purdue and Colorado.....

Our AD is the reason we are in a sh!t show. Not Kiffin.

Kiffin left for his dream job. I get it. I would leave USC after one season if I was a head coach and UT opened up. I would also try to get my recruits that I wanted to rebuild an empire with to try to come with me to Rocky Top.

He was also in his early 30's at the time. If you can't see how he has matured just in his interviews alone today vs 8 years ago, you are truly something else.

We were spoiled in having a "grandad/dad" figure with Coach Fulmer. Loved the guy. But at the end of the day, being a buddy isn't what I want in a head coach. I just want to win. Kiffin is a d!ck, but he also has an ego to win.

Also, he is literally the only coach that would take this job that can recruit, develop talent, and is a pretty competent coach.

Kiffin is also the kind of guy to record the phone call with Currie when the offer comes.... I would be down for that Audio....

Bridges were burned by Kiffin. UTAD ended up with egg on their face and will not let that happen again. Even if Kiffin was at a P5 school and about to be in the playoff, they will not contact Lane.

NFW.

That is what contracts are for. High $ buyout, small money until he proves himself etc etc. Yeah he could kick us in the nuts again, but he would pay dearly for it and the proceeds could buy Saban.

We better pray that Kiffin doesn't ever take a job in the SEC where he whips our ass year in and year out.

FWIW, Kiffin was just on ESPN and denied completely that he had a package with Steele and Martin in place.

With a healthy team.

Only Bama, Auburn and UGA would be favored.

This isn’t hard. No time for hurt feelings in life or business.

He won less than 9 games 3 out of 4 years at USC and you think he is going to win 9 games the first year at Tennessee :pilot:

I doubt they will go and offer Kiffin at this point with all that's happened with this search. I wish they would, but I have no idea why they wouldn't go offer Tee at this point. I love my Vols, but if they won't even offer these 2 I can't support them until the Haslems and Currie are gone. This is ridiculous!

Of course he did. He has a championship to focus on for Saturday.

Ya...go look at the circumstances he was working with out there
