I think the easiest way to get proven is by winning college football games as a HC. Look at recent MNC winners:

Meyer won as HC at Utah and Bowling Green
Les Miles won as HC of Oklahoma State
Mack Brown won as HC of UNC
Jim Tressell won as HC of Youngstown State

Of course there are exceptions (Pete Carroll), but I think teams are much better off with a hiring a successful, proven college HC.

Les Miles was 28-21 at Ok St.

Les Miles didn't do much at OSU.

I've been a Vols fan since childhood. UT won the NC while I was in high school. I could have decided to start following them at that point and been a bandwaggoner. Do you think every student in Gainesville is a fan of the Gators, much less a lifelong fan?

No.

Generally speaking either you're a fan or not. Like I said it seems if you aren't now you probably will be if they win big.

They've already won big... twice.

Anyhow, can we get back on topic?

You must be really insecure, that or you have a massive inferiority complex.

That must be it. So I can assume you have no friends. You're talking to people online who don't want to talk to you nor care what you have to say. If you're going that far out of your way to bother people, it's apparent nobody you know in person wants to talk to you. You can't force them to listen to you. Here, you continue to post knowing full well no one cares what you have to say. Thank you for forcing us to bare witness to your stupidity. Shouldn't you be off talking to your little Florida buddies? They want the same thing you do. Sounds like a much better fit. Get a life man... get a life.
