I predict Oakland to go 2-14, and it's much more likely for that to happen than it is for UT to go 5-7 again this year.

I've mulled this over a lil, my only thought is that somewhere between 1-2 weeks b4 sept 5th an accusing/mud slingin story will emerge from Raiderland attacking him as Kiffin starts his season out of a petty attempt for attention.

Lane was looking for a college job while he was already the Raider's coach? Must've been looking at us and thinking it as a good oportunity! :)

I think it means that Arkansas interviewed him last year when it hired Petrino instead. I didn't know Kiffin was ever interviewed, much less contacted about the Arkansas position. Has anyone else heard that?

Regardless of what he meant, Arkansas doesn't owe Kiffin one red cent of coaching salary. Pretty bad that got published.

The Kiffin vs. Davis Story seems to have no end.

The writer Joe Kukura predicts UT to end up 5-7 this year and confuses UT with Arkansas at the end of the article.

Kiffin vs. Davis Ruling Delayed | NBC Bay Area

Thoughts and Comments?

Wow...The author of this article demonstrates a lack of basic knowledge regarding, college football, the NFL, the law and journalism. Using the internet for research as an amateur blogger you could do better in terms of understanding facts regarding where Kiffin went to work after he was fired, how arbitration works, what a deposition is etc. This is basically a derivative piece from a real journalist, mixed with hyperbole and pot shots from a jorts (thats jean shorts for those blissfully unaware) wearing UF loving loser. The NBC Bay area should be embarrassed to have published this stinking pile of faux news.

I posted this and now looked up Joe Kukura. He is a loser who got a grad degree from Rutgers and writes crappy articles on sports which he submits to NBC websites who are unprofessional enough to post him. He seriously makes me consider being a sports writer, because I could sit on the toilet and use my blackberry and be done with better stories than he creates before I am done with my dumps.
