I'm no fan of Crompton either. In fact, I would wager that I dislike Crompton as much as anyone here. Nevertheless, I now think more of Crompton than I do of BJ Coleman. At least Crompton hasn't thrown a fit like a two-year-old spoiled brat and quit because he wasn't getting his way.

...and of course, it was great of Team Fulmer to leave that QB cupboard so overflowing with talent.

whats he got to whine about,second or third best q.b. starting for the 2nd year in a row.

kiffin wasnt going to take the chance of bj getting us bowl eligible and maybe losing a prized (unproven) recruit.

we get to sacrifice this year for the future of his vision,even though it may be clouded with immaturity.

The thinner we get at QB, the harder it is for me to forget EB's high school film at QB. It's not the eventual offense, but if we're basically a run team this fall, we could do a lot worse. I know it's not happening, but still. A TD run or two, here or there, could add a nice memory to the video promo when Eric is playing on Sundays.

Thanks. No one should be surprised by this. Since he told Tahj Boyd he wouldn't fit in his system, he's made it very clear he is going to get his QB. Even if Coleman was 2nd string this year he would be our most experienced QB going into 2010 but going head to head w/ Lane's prize QB recruit, whoever that may be. He saw the writing on the wall, and I wish him the best of luck where ever he goes. I think players should be able to transfer w/out sitting out a year if the staff that recruited him gets s-canned.
