Kiffin to address the media at 11 a.m.

April 2013:
After starting his college football carreer with the TN Vols and leaving for a spectacular carreer with the UTC Mocs, B J Coleman signs with the Tennessee Titans in move eerily similar to Ingle Martin's.

The University of Tennesee is embroiled in a contract buyout dispute with Lane Kiffin. Mr. Kiffin has publicly stated, "It's going to cost these rednecks millions to make me go away". After winning 5 games in the 2012 season, coach Kiffin explained, "I was able to win more games than in 2011. What the Hell do they want from me?".

You missed the point. Nice job. Try reading the post before that entry where I was asked to produce an example where Kiffin wasn't "respected".

This blind love for Kiffin is getting disgusting.

:good!:

it went past getting months ago!

And he pointed out that you FAILED at making your point. Oh and by the way....it was an EPIC FAIL!

I'm pretty sure you were asked to post an example of someone who is actually on the team. You make these asinine statements that there are numerous players spouting off about how they have no respect for Kiffin, and then you're example of that is a person who quit the team because he wasn't getting his way. You are really making yourself look an ass.

OK what did he do in spring?

His former coach is A.D. at Brentwood!!!!!! and doesn't like it!

He was by far the best QB during spring, and from the state of TENNESSEE.

Hatvol96, you can kiss my backside! I don't know what a Culhane is, but Chattanoogans love UT! We are all better than your sorry ass. 32 thousand or 32 million posts. And post back where ur at. we (U and ME) can talk about what a culhane is in person and how we can cut 70 percent off of what really needs to be CUT!

You may get blasted, but I don't think it's all chatts who are to blame, but definitely the ones who kept pumping BS about BJ. He wasn't that good. None of our QB's are, yet, but at least the other two have enough confidence and thus still have a chance to prove me and others wrong.

not to metion the 73 yard field goals he will try..sad!

I think you're right, but it will be less effective without BJ being anywhere in sight of the field.

I also like your views on Nick.

Do you know if Nick is doing better with the players who are on the team this year? Seems he didn't get along as well with some last year and that he felt they were slackers--and many were. That's not the case this year, so the balance of the team may be more like him--hellbent on winning.

This is all speculation from watching/reading and not based on any inside info, so please correct whatever's off base.

As I've said a few times, I don't pretend to know what's going on inside our locker room, but I think team chemistry will be much better under Kiffin. And NewVol, who has been pretty accurate with his predictions and insight so far, has said that Stephens is the most popular QB among the players. I don't think they have a problem with Crompton, but Stephens seems like he is getting along with everyone fine. It has to make him happy that we don't seem like we will tolerate slackers.

Or the fools who talk so much about him without realizing they are promoting the Kiffin cause. You could be AD at UF with such skill.

True. The more I think about it, it would help us for posivol to get a job on ESPN. Oh well.

Lincoln is no Janikowski...Lane isn't that stupid

Janikowski is not a 73 yard field goal kicker!

this was done to show up the organization, you know the one that gave him his big break.

The <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" />Chattanooga homers are ridiculous. What a stupid and classless move for Coleman to get pissed off that Kiffin had to reschedule their meeting and then go to the AD's office to inform him that he was leaving the team. For all Coleman knows, Kiffin decided to take more time to review the practice and scrimmage tapes because he was starting to agree that Coleman had earned the #1 spot. He’ll never know now. Regardless, Kiffin is the head coach of this team not Coleman. If Kiffin wanted to reschedule the meeting, then the meeting gets rescheduled. BJ Coleman needs to learn his place. The sun does not rise and set on BJ Coleman’s ass.

See, Posi, that post is out of character.

That's the kind of thing I think you'd do. Flashy, brash, who gives a damn, can't touch me, kind of stuff.

Be true to yourself, man. You and the Kiff are soulmates.

I'm sure this is a common saying to many people, but I laughed out loud when I read it.

far from it my brother,i always let the results do my talking.i also didnt ride daddies coattails.

You can't blast away stats!

And Andy Kelly's arm was as strong as water!

Exhibit A: u can bite my rear too! Kiffin will get an NFL QB, but he could have let BJ know that he was keeping it quiet for recruiting purposes!

All u guys: I am extremely excited about CLK being here!! I loved Fulmer, but it was time to go! My 1st game was UT vs. Penn State in 1971 and I was less than 6 months old. I graduated from there. So my blood runneth!

I just don't understand the Chattanooga hate.

Janikowski does have the leg to make a 73 yard field goal with no opposing team lining up on the line of scrimmage. Janikowski's problem is accuracy, not leg strength. That decision by Kiffin to try that field goal right before halftime was brilliant. Janikowski missed the field goal, but it was a brilliant move. Kiffin and the referees were the only people on the whole damn field that even knew that rule.
