And, when Malzahn leaves for arkansas, that puts Steele on the market.

Fulmer can have a seat also. Matter of fact, Fulmer, Peyton, and The Haslams need to get out the way just as fast as Currie does.

The fact that many would like Tee to come here and be the OC and HC in waiting shows how far from reality many on here are. Tee would never leave OC at USC to do that. He either should stay or prove himself from a small power 5 school as HC.

Only way he is coming here is as a HC, but he is not proven and there is not much reason to be confident he would fare well.

I'm not trying to be rude.......but these stories have been happening for weeks......even by notable reporters......and not all are true.

On another note I did say this would be the biggest hire in all of football this season.....bar none. Tennessee would have gone from Clueless and dumpster fire.......to the top of off season football talk (this time in a positive way).

Also never said it wasn't true......said wasn't happening (and I needed something to believe).......and if offered only shows why some boosters, let their personal feelings get in the way of the program......and really the entire state of Tennessee.....as everyone will continue to bash us all.

Heck in reality the trio would prob even been a better hire than Patterson, Gundy and most of the top names people threw out.

You get a coach that can recruit who knows O......you get one of the hottest OC's, who is one of the best recruiters in the nation.......and the coach for the future (set up for LONG term success)....and you get one of the hottest DC's.........who runs the perfect D to stop the run (Tennessee's biggest failure the past 2 years).......who is also a VFL.
