Kiffin sure got scared.

He saw our potential and started burning the clock hardcore in the 4th quarter.

If Kiffin was scared of anything, it was a Jack Daniel's bottle in the back of his scrawny head. He knew he had the best team on his side tonight. I think we all did.

The 3 points was the icing on the cake of our moral victory tonight. He is not making good decisions.

Not taking the FG and going for it on 4th down had glaring problems that you're overlooking.

1. Depending on an OL that has had blown assignments and can't block in key situations when it's needed.

2. A QB that is in his 1st game of the season.

3. Never take points off the board.

They took the foot off the pedal when they were up 27-0. It could have been way worse.

I'm not so sure. After Cooper made his last catch. I noticed the OC for Bama pump his fist/arm. I think he had the pedal pushed. This was the last drive Bama fumble on too, so I think TN adjusted better after being shell shocked.

Oh, so you're saying he was scared because he beat us by 2 TDs? Got it. Wish I was scared.
if dobbs didn't get the offence a spark it probly would of been alot worst losing to a ranked team by 14points is not that bad look at tcu game

That would have required actually betting for TN to win that game.

Nah, Bama did not cover the spread. So betting on Bama would have lost you money.

I believe that was the point behind his comment. Not positive of that though...

So 27-7 and we make a 3 score game into a.... 3 score game with a half left? Don't know if you've been keeping up this season but red zone chances have been few and far between. But hey at least Butch used a linebacker that hasn't ran a play all season to try and convert 3rd down. It's disheartening to see how stupid he is sometimes. Some of these calls have me wondering if DD is still coaching

I don't quite buy that. They may have run it a little more in the 2nd half, but they stayed aggressive. Them coughing up the ball twice had as much to do with it as anything.

I think you missed the part where they showed Saban look at Kiffin and say, "Run the damn ball." close up on national television.

I don't know if Kiffin was scared or nervous, but he definitely knew the drive at 27-17 was very important or else he wouldn't have been pumping his fist so much doing that drive. After Sims scrambled on 3rd down, Kiffin pumped his fist and showed emotion like it was a touchdown run for the lead.

We definitely had him feeling a little uncomfortable at that time.

At 27-17 it was probably a bit too close for Saban and Kiff. If nothing else, it showed the Bama O can respond when needed. It was probably more relief than anything else.

Saban with Kiffin as the OC and Smart as the DC reminds me of our glory days with Fulmer, Cutcliffe and Chavis. Flame away but that is a very good staff.
