He saw our potential and started burning the clock hardcore in the 4th quarter.

I don't call that being scared. It's playing smart and not giving the other team a chance to score again.

Regardless, he's still a douche.

Oh, so you're saying he was scared because he beat us by 2 TDs? Got it. Wish I was scared.

They wanted that game over before something crazy could happen. Momentum and breaks were not with them in the second half. That goal line fumble I'm sure sealed their desire to have the game over asap.

Any one else read Sabans lips after one of their touchdowns when we started to come back Saban started yelling a Kif about how he would have went for two

Agreed!

Well, our D picked a bad night to not show up until the second half.

It's the story of the Vols over the last decade. We cannot pair offensive & defensive efforts together to win. Couple that with Butch "Kick the Ball" Jones & we have another morale victory to celebrate.

I'd rather come away with points on a drive than a big fat 0 and give them the ball back. CBJ is gonna be alright he's got this. We're slowly gettin there.

Wish you were gone...

Agreed though... wish Jones would have a pair of testicles surgically attached so that we'd take some chances and go for the jugular.

I was fully ready to ignore that POS's presence until that smirk after the first TD. After that I wanted a 3rd sting lineman to pumel him with a helmet until he was a red mist.

The 3 points was the icing on the cake of our moral victory tonight. He is not making good decisions.

From Alabama's perspective, that game was never in doubt. They just had to finish UT off later than it looked like would be necessary. Scared is not the word that any sane person would use to describe how Lane Kiffin called that game. What advantage was there for Alabama to not run the clock near the end? It worked. It was completely logical. UT has now lost 8 in a row to the Crimson Tide. Their closest game in that span? 2009, with Lane Kiffin as the coach. Get off his balls and focus on UT.
