Kiffin story leakage a distraction

Under normal circumstances you might be right, but we've achieved a level of offensive suckiness where distractions are impossible.

I doubt all this will have much affect, but I do believe Kiffin is our Head Coach and it will be announced the sunday or monday following the UK game.

the only thing left is the ability to hand off. Not that I'm 100% confident we can do it but it helps when your offense is limited

Why? This team needs some positive thought. Thinking about what happened so far this season certainly isn't going to help. The coaching can't really get any worse.

I think Randall Cobb being pissed about UT barely looking at him is more of a worry than who our next coach will be. Knowing Cobb, he'll probably come out and have his biggest game of the season.

These kind of distractions are keeping the team from focusing on the real problem at hand.......Themselves!!

I actually appreciate McCat starting this thread. I had forgotten there was a season going on.

Yes that is much more important.

I think the Hamilton retraction was the distraction. The players felt too much hope, practice was the best of the season, and it looked like a guaranteed win on Saturday. Hamilton had to kill the rumor to make the team drop back down to its pre-announcement practice ethos.

If Kiffin is indeed the new coach, I wish they would put him on the sidelines during the game. That maybe would inspire some of the underclassmen to play a little harder, knowing it might affect their playing time next year.

Were I Kentucky, I'd eat it up this Saturday. Chances like this only come along every 25 years or so.
