We are better off with who we have right now, than to have the NCAA breathing down our necks, IMO.

Folks please, the guys has his points. I can't stand him either but he is correct all the way through the article. This interview reminds me how we felt about this guy 16 months ago. Have to admit its a good interview for him, clearly paid for. The media can't be TRUSTED and if you can't see through this little "chat" then come on!!!!! But at least he didn't do anything to worsen the situation...............geez ....go vols- Hate Kiffin....usc.....nvm I quit

Tennessee fans are completely ridiculous. We all had a National Championship pinned within 5 years and now you blast the guy for saying he could've won the SEC. Two months ago, we were all on the honeymoon and had he not left, he definitely would have won the SEC... unless we hit probation.

Which is something that Lane and Ed O helped USC face while out in Cali the first time.

If they don't end up on probation for what transpired while both of them were there earlier this decade, then the NCAA should just shut it's doors and have a yard sale.

If you're referring to the Bush deal, it's going to be really hard to tie that back to any coach at USC. Consequently, it'll be light whatever the penalty. I really doubt it will affect them at all.

Ed O was just the recruiting coordinator then, it's not like they are going to have to look very far.

Ed O isn't the one that gave Bush and his family a house. Some boosters down in San Diego are responsible most likely for that. I'm not saying that Orgeron and Kiffin weren't right in the middle of it, but they're going to have to find proof. If they had some, it would've already blown up.

The argument that immediate proof leads to an immediate verdict is bunk. Sometimes it takes a prosecution months and even over a year to get their case together. This is one of those cases that require delicate handling because of the black eye that is on the line for the NCAA if they don't get it right.

This "case" has been going on for more than a year bud. And, like Hat said, they're going to have to find proof that links Orgeron, Kiffin, etc... not Bush's agent or some boosters. I think they could still hit USC, but it won't be anything of consequence.
