Kiffin Rips Meyer and UF's Coaches!

ya, i started liking him around early oct. he'll continue to make cry-baby sly remarks and urban will continue to beat ut like a drum for it.

Since when is a 10-point win beating a team like a drum?

There must be history between those two that we don't know about.

That's what I'm thinking. Why else would he constantly throw jabs his way? I mean, as a fan of CLK and the Vols, at some point these jabs start to appear bush league UNLESS there's a history between them that justifies them.

Seriously, let's try to figure it out.... Did Meyer screw someone over, or is it just Meyer's arrogance that grinds CLK's gears? It's gotta be something.

maybe getting to 12-0 requires motivation from wherever it may come. whether they use it or not, i'm not going to question the motivational techniques it took to get us to 12-0. if they use motivation from teams like vandy, ut and kentucky, so be it- we're 12-0.

Oh, you are on the team, huh? You are a fan of the University. That is it. Not on the team sir, so please don't speak like you are. Thank you and good night.

Meyer makes himself an easy target. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut and let Kiffin look like a loudmouth.

The first time he responded to LK, he added more fuel to the fire.

In terms of the coaching matchup, Spurrier said Saturday's game features "probably the two top guys in the country right now," referring to Florida's Urban Meyer and Alabama's Nick Saban.

Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin didn't mind distinguishing between the two coaches, though he hesitated to predict a winner.

"It's kind of hard to call," Kiffin said Tuesday in an interview on WNML-AM in Knoxville. "There's a bunch of great players on both teams. Florida has so much speed. I think you'll see Alabama will outscheme Florida, and Florida has given up 28 sacks this year when a bunch of guys come free. But the problem is Superman (quarterback Tim Tebow) is back there. It comes down to can you tackle him.

"It will be a real interesting matchup. Florida has better players, and Alabama has better coaches, so we'll see."

I think he gave an honest answer to the question he was asked. Think about it...how many times has Tebow won a game practically by himself. He carries that team and makes everyone better. Without him, there is no way Florida is undefeated. Alabama on the other hand, has won without a star player. They have Ingram and Jones, both great players, but unlike Tebow neither have the ball in their hands every play. I would have to completely agree with his answer. This is only a subtle jab because the media wants it to be. He only answered the question.

Kiffin is just taking shots at the one person standing between him and his first goal....winning the SECe. I really don't think it's personal...I think Meyer is just the guy standing in the way for recruits and prestige. Saban is no real competition yet, just wait til we start winning the east regularly and Saban stands between Kiffin and goal #2, the SEC championship. :dance2:
I think that, yes, he was speakin his mind, but I also think that he respects Saban and has NONE for CUM. I'm with him on that. CUM is the biggest whinner in major college FB. He wants to stay in his head....whether he's speakin the truth or just eatingh up space in CUM's psyche.

Kiffin hates meyer with a passion, after all the whining meyer did this year. Kiffin's going to be pumped up in September for a beatdown of UF in knoxville, and will likely try to run up the score to really rub it in.

Yeah, I like what I read a couple weeks ago. A fellow fan had given Slive some great advice - "Drink some gasoline & chase it with a match". That'll shut him up!

How do you know this? Sounds to me that most UT fans make a mountain out of an anthill.
