3) It has suspiciously favored Florida for weeks.
Well, first, I just don't buy into the conspiracy theories about that. But, I do agree that Florida has been on the better end of that stick at least twice this year. Last, I don't think that any of the calls made a difference in the outcome of games.
1) I do agree that there should not have been a personal foul call versus the Arky player. On the other hand, it sure looks like that did not add much to Florida's position in that game. And, as has been pointed out by many, officials didn't make the Arky kicker miss.
2) The pass interference call on Arky was certainly close enough that its hard ot argue with it. The Arky player turned to the Florida player and pushed off of him, then turned back to the ball. Might another official have seen it differently and not called it? I suppose. But that is often the case on such calls and so you can't really fault him for that.
3) I did think in the MSU game that the ball came out of Doe's hand before he crossed the goal line. But, given MSU's inability to move the ball offensively all night, I just think we win by a smaller margin, is all.
You can debate until the cows come home whether this play might have led to an alternative universe. That is a problem inherent in the system. But unless it involves a call at the very end of the game, the last series or last play, then its hard to be convincing with such an argument of "what if" because you don't know -- i.e. it is equally likely that MSU gets the ball, is three and out and punts to James who runs it back for a TD.
