I have to wonder if Kiffin is using pictures of all of the USC propaganda that he installed in the football complex at UT while he was here? If so, Al Davis is a mega-prophet.

I heard from several people that Kiffin displayed USC posters and paraphanalia in the UT football complex while he was here. If so, is he using this in recruiting at USC?

Yeah....the mugshots of the fine young men he recruited while here should be quite an enticement to the current prospects. That or he can brag about their Junior College stats.

So are you asking "Is Kiffin using the history and success of USC to recruit prospects to... USC?" ?

So... You are asking if he is using USC posters and paraphernalia to recruit kids to USC? Probably so...

Hayden is the guy who is responsible bringing Kiffin to USC. He was at the time, heading the USC search Committee and was the guy who recommended that Mike Garrett hire Kiffin.

The bottom line is that Kiffin can recruit and is proving to be a very good game day coach.

When has he proved to be a very good game day coach?

Kiffin is an elite recruiter, but is an average game day coach.

The last two seasons, Oregon was more talented. Last season Stanford may have been just as talented.

Stanford, no. We are about to see how good Stanford is without Luck.

Oregon is debatable. Just because Kiffin only won 8 games 2 years ago does not mean they were less talented. Pete Carrol has been bringing in top 10 classes every year he has been there. Oregon hasn't had one top 10 class from 06-10.

Not to mention, there is a huge dropoff from USC, Oregon, and Stanford in the pac 12.

The SEC was almost the same last year.

You had Bama, LSU, Arky, and then a significant dropoff.

He's still learning, sure.

But look at his dismantling of UGA, USCe, and his loss to Bama here as some examples of good gameday coaching.

Agree - he may be a tool, but he can coach pretty well. He only had 2 bad coaching games the year he was at UT, the UCLA game and the VaTech bowl game.

He's a good coach and a good recruiter. It makes me sick to admit it but it's true.

Beating a 7-5 UGA that lost to UK and a 7-5 USCe team that lost to Uconn is good examples?

We played Bama good, but one game doesn't make a coach.
