Kiffin quote from Rome Show today.....Unreal

It's all starting to make sense now. The NCAA is behind Kiffin! When a school breaks rules from now on, they should not pull schollys or forbid bowls etc. Make the offending university hire Layla's husband, the enabling skunk haired genius, and that gorilla for one year. Everything will then balance, the death penalty will become obsolete, and the NCAA looks benevolent because of the 3 stooges utter excellence and ability to make the program better in 14 months.

Man, I want some of what you're doing!!!

I'm a bammer... but that's ridiculous. I would fully support and condone a group of people flying to California and torching his car and kidnapping his wife and dropping her off on "the bad part of town". Is that classless of me? :zeitung_lesen:

Not in the slightest. I have informed more than one person that, unfortunately, I no longer possess a rifle, nor do I have Marine Corps sniper training. If I did, I would be profoundly tempted to declare open hunting season on a certain pariah former coach, one that would have no bag limit.

The day that clown is canned will be as sweet as if UT beats UF or BAMA!
eh.

it starts with the seahawks continuing to suck and kiff's crush getting ego-checked (again).
then usc being overrated and losing 1-2 Punk10 games per year minimum.

hope ucla and stanford continue to build.

Oh wait, it will start with the ncaa violations that are only basketball.

heard the piece.
he didnot say yellow and he was making very valid points.

facts are facts....Many of the recruits they brought in last year and this year wanted to play in his scheme and for his father....PERIOD.

what a clown...maybe U$C will get slapped with some probation and no bowl appearances and then we will see how he likes the choice he made. we will be better in the long run without him.

This is why I really wish we could play USC and beat them in the future. There would be nothing better in the world to beat K____n and know that Dooley gave him a warm smile and a "Good game, coach" when they shook hands. At least we have respect and integrity back in Tennessee football.

Tennessee fans wanted to believe in someone so badly that when he rolled in with his smooth talking BS, everyone bought in to it because we all wanted the things he was saying to be true. We wanted to believe that because of who Monte was and because we believed that we had all these NFL coaches being pushed to recruit hard by the guy who they wrote the book about recruiting on. All out there getting us some top grade talent on the field, which would finally give us a fighting chance at the UF's and UA's of the world. Whom we were nowhere near close enough to, competitively for several years. (By ANY Vols' opinion, I think.)

This once great fanbase has been fighting with mediocrity for quite sometime, and everyone was and is so very anxious to avoid the slip to national irrelevance which, is where we saw the program going. Sub-par recruiting classes, many top-notch talents not even considering us, under-performing teams, insufficient player development, perennially losing to the teams on our schedule considered to be the biggest rivalry games.

Disappointment was becoming acceptable and our fanbase was smart enought to see this. They scratched to find something to right the ship before the waterfall. Lane Kiffin was the devil making us a deal with our program. He painted a rosey picture of what he could do for us, we bought in, myself included, hook, line and sinker.

Now I feel like the drunk chick who fell asleep at the party, waking up in a puddle of her own filth. I'm disgusted with myself and ashamed of the things I have said to defend the devil and his level of intelligence, decision-making, coaching capability, and character. Boy, I will never consider myself as intelligent as I once did before this episode.

Now we have Dooley. I hope for the best but, my spirit's weakened. He has some solid qualities and I so want to believe again, but... This guy's going to have to prove himself worthy of this position before I defend anything he says or does. My football IQ isn't as high as some others' on this board so, I'll leave his resume and abilities for someone else to comment on. I know its no longer a question of whether "we want to believe in him," now its more of a "we need to believe in him."

Our program has probably rarely seen some of the deepest lows we have all had to endure during our years of support to this University, in its entire history. The way I see it, we have no choice here, everyone. We have to be as enthusiastic as possible for this coach and primarily for these players that have decided to give their all for Tennessee.

I hope and pray that Dooley has what it takes to pull us out of this nosedive trajectory we followed with the last coaching staff. But, I know if the fans don't remain strongly behind the entire program at this critical time, we would be giving in. I don't believe in giving up. No way, not one bit. We will survive this. Maybe after, a few years down the road, we will all be a little stronger along with this amazing program booming stronger than ever.

We were smart enough to see the writing on the wall before when things took a wrong turn. I hope we are smart enough to see it this time as well. This team is going to need us now more than ever so, I hope everyone out there that's looking at this situation sketically buys-in, and quickly. I'm not saying hook, line, and sinker this time but, we all need to be as loud and vocal of our support now, more than ever.

We can't quit now. GO VOLS!

:good!::clapping:, now the devil needs to go back to hell and take his girlfriend erectile disfunction with him

I like what Kippy said, don't go anywhere to play for a coach, he may not be there. I know that's what Lane was selling, but he's a self centered egotistical douche anyway. Only thing he has to sell is his father anyway, he still hasn't proven a damn thing.

Can you all just stop saying his name and refer to him as "the one who's name we do not speak". I'd feel much better about that. Thanks.

I agree. We did the right thing by backing "the one who's name we do not speak" even knowing that he would not be around long. It is time to do the same thing again. If nothing else, Dooley can restore UT's image of class and dignity... he said it himself, what we are really backing is the University, not his or anyone's individual efforts. At the end of the day, coaches will come and go, we fans will still be here. Adversity can be the best source of finding unity, just look at the B-ball team.

With the Dooley hire, I am back on board pulling for UT to be successful. I have always liked UT, respected the program and enjoyed what UT brings to the SEC.. I just didn't like Kiffin from day one..

I like and respect Dooley as a person and a coach!

You guys are fortunate this happened IMHO.. Painful as it is...

What is more painful however, is losing a coach like Nick Saban on Christmas Eve... then him returning to CFB to arch rival Alabama and winning a National Championship in 3 short years! Miles is OK, but everyone knows Nick is probably the best coach in CFB...LSU lost something of greatness, you guy got rid of young frat boy over his head....a blessing

Kiffin will be a has been and punch line in 3-5 years.. Saban is a legend type coach.. Dooley who worked under Saban for several year just might be the next legend type coach at UT...

I am having a hard time believing that JRIB is getting much pub on this forum to begin with. I kinda used to like watchin him, but there is no doubt that he is a SoCal homer, and when butthead bolted for USC, he could hardly contain his glee. Now he will have lots of material for his show, and he can secretly pull for his new boy. Sickening.

If the players committed to play for Lane and his staff not UT why did only one recruit say he was thinking of following the staff to USC?

It is apparent that Lane doesn't live in reality with the rest of the world. We are better off getting him out of here before he gets us in trouble. Good riddance!!! I look forward to watching him crash and burn at another school. I realize now how much fun our rivals have been having watching him screw up over the past year. Now it is our turn to watch and laugh.

If y'all give one second of time to anything this moron ever says again it will be too much. It is obvious to me that Kiffin is not mentally stable. They guy is the poster child for spoiled brat and he may be the most unprofessional pers on I have ever witnessed.

I hope the Tennessee fans can see what a step up y'all have made with coach Dooley. They guy is a class act and the kind of man that should be at a school like Tennessee. Congratulations on the hire, I think it was a knock out of the park for Hamilton.

Also, the Dooley's and Saban's are friends and I hope that it restores some class and respect for our rivalry that has been imssing for some time now.

Good luck in the future, I think this was a great hire.

LAMOKIFEN FU U SCUMBAG

Glad he is not burning any bridges like when Al Davis fired this scum. Have a little class...oh sorry forgot who I was speaking of.

Freakin Dirtbang LAME

I look at it like this, It will be the best thing that happened to TN Football. The kiffins used us as a speed bump. And thats cool we know now what not to do when hiring coaches. I know Monte is a great NFL coach but he could not stop the spread, he did Eric Berry wrong. I are GLAD they are gone. They just better hope we dont see them in a bowl game. GO VOLS!!!!!!:dance:peace2:
