Kiffin revealing his true colors...no pun intended...He has yet win squat!

If you listen to Kibby Brown and Dooley today, what did they talk about? The program, the tradition, the fans, that you recruit to the program not to the coach..they said that a couple of time with emphasis..

You guys got a great hire, and Lane is just immature, over his head and wreckless...

Deep down, all Tennessee fans knew this already, but he was your coach and you supported him... now you can move foward with Dooley and watch the entertainment in LA:)

I defended him because of who he brought with him. I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore.

It makes me think Monty spent too much time in the film room instead of being home and having an influence on his son's upbringing. He is lacking character.

Looks like Vince did a better job of raising Derek than Monte did with Lane.

Could it be that USC just hired Kiffin because they know what is coming, and they want him to be the one takes it up the wazzoo? He was THE coach that recruited Reggie Bush and that ordeal will cost them something. You guys made a good hire today. Dooley seems like a class act. If you tell any of my fellow Bama fans that I said that, I will deny it and call ya'll liars.

As is I'm already making plans to go to the Stanford game to sit behind the USC bench and being from Hawaii, have already made a few calls. I'll know what hotel they're staying at when they visit on Sept. 4th. Any ideas for that one b/c I know people in most of the bigger hotels on Oahu?????

With all hate mongering aside, I am quite impressed with all of the Vol
haters here empathizing with us. Thanks for that!

With that said, I can't believe anyone is really surprised by what happened. Living in Texas I can't see as much Vol activity these days. When Kiffin was hired and he started running his mouth all I could think of is "Crap, we just hired a young Steve Superior".

Somehow I can't help but believe LK leaving is quite possibly the best thing that has ever happened to Tennessee and the SEC. We were destined to end up on probation or worse with him at the helm. As it stands, USC will get whats coming and end up in a much worse situation than what Pete Carroll left and quite frankly they deserve it.

Stand tall and be proud to be Tennessee! We have better days ahead and I only hope our new coach can be the one to take us in the direction we all want to go.

Go Vols!!!!

I think a lot of the Vol hate this past year was a result of Kiffin. Now that UT has a classy guy at the helm, it's harder for them to hate us. Well, other than Bama and Florida fans.

It's all starting to make sense now. The NCAA is behind Kiffin! When a school breaks rules from now on, they should not pull schollys or forbid bowls etc. Make the offending university hire Layla's husband, the enabling skunk haired genius, and that gorilla for one year. Everything will then balance, the death penalty will become obsolete, and the NCAA looks benevolent because of the 3 stooges utter excellence and ability to make the program better in 14 months.

I listened to this today on 104.5 the Zone and he didn't say "yellow" he said orange. He also didn't say it bluntly and downgrading us just kind of stating the fact that what they were selling (nfl and all that) is what they were buying.
