Kiffin or Gundy?

Who would you rather have?

Tough, I would say Gundy because the media would have to backtrack what they have been saying. If we hire Kiffin they will just pile on saying we are so desperate we had to hire the person who left us.
Letting the media be the reason you hire or do not hire a coach should never enter into your coaching hire.

How many pay raises does Gundy expect to get from Tennessee? Will this be the third? Currie should ask for a cut to help with the buyouts.

Gundy has a .681 winning percentage in a power 5 conference with mostly 3* talent.

Kiffin tweets alot

Ridiculous question, Gundy every minute of every day.

I am surprised that the poll is as close as it is. I believe that our administration would support a Gundy hire. I don't think they would support a Kiffin hire. Gundy will need a great DC and a great recruiting coordinator. Kiffin would be great at recruiting.

I can roll with Gundy if he can bring a quality defensive coordinator with him. On the other hand, we're not in the position to be picky thanks to stellar leadership. So...

Between the two it would have to be Gundy. But I honestly don't expect UT to get either one. They could probably have Kiffin, but I don't expect them to even attempt it.

If it's Gundy, it must be a requirement in his contract that he keeps the haircut, and drives a trans am up and down the Gatlinburg strip on Saturday nights after a big win.

Gundy, if we can get him. If not, then Tee Martin.

Not Kiffin, not ever. Too many burned bridges there.

Let's put it this way - if this is the choice then I'm very happy with whoever we end up with. Both of these guys are a huge step up from the dreck we've dealt with from the last two clowns.

Kiffin did a great job in his one year at UT and a great job this year at FAU. Can anyone explain his USC years? Seems to me it's his staff that does a lot of the heavy liftIng

Kiffen would have us on probation in two years. Then we could talk about depth issues for another decade! Happy, joy, joy!
