Nice post...thanks. I love what Coach O says:
"There's so much information out there. But I will say this: The tougher it gets, the more we like it," said Orgeron, well-versed in the SEC recruiting wars after spending three seasons as Ole Miss' head coach from 2005-07.
I cannot wait until September!!!

Am I the only one bothered by the fact that his sell is "we'll get you to the NFL," not "we'll win you and your teammates championships at Tennessee"?

Kiffin, along with I'm sure all D1 coaches, have said that multiple times.

Do you expect him to blather on about it every time he opens his mouth?

Is his job to get players into the NFL? No, its to win football games.

I guess if that is what he has to tell HS kids to get them here, then whatever.

That's like a HS teacher saying he/she will prepare their students for college instead of just getting a 4.0 in HS.

It's a sound tactic by Kiffin.

Good read, isnt it nice to know that other schools are worried about us again?

Don't know is we're quite there....yet...but there's a buzz out there that has gotten people's attention. That's for sure.

I just can't friggin wait til September!!!!:rock:

Actually, if we recruit the talent that should go to the NFL then the answer is yes to both.

As a coach you don't just win games, but you make sure kids graduate and hopefully prepare them for the next phase of their life -- NFL or otherwise.

We want to get the kids who are good enough to go to the NFL. The reason why is obvious to me. If they are good enough to make it there then we should be winning games because that means we have very good talent.

We will win games. No doubt in my mind. I'm just excited to see a lil different offense. Not the dame thing I have seen my whole life watchin TN! JMO
