Lane is looking a lot more relaxed now...He's not hesitating as much as before when he speaks.

Who was the kid the reporter was asking about that broke some long runs? I can't make it out sound like poole. Minute 2:40

after kiffin made the comment about the O line being more disciplined because of the zero false starts, they asked Chaney about that and he said, "well, they shouldn't have any false starts, we're going on "one" every time. Yout get a false start there, and we're too dumb to be playing football"

i think i like this guy.

Poole broke several long runs yesterday. He looked like he is ready for this fight. He probably had the best day of anyone yesterday.

That makes two of us. That's a classic quote.

What are the details on a scrimmage tomorrow? I thought I read they were starting at Haslem then moving to Neyland for the second half. Is this so and is it open to the public tomorrow?

Did CLK make any comments about the QB competition?

I didn't hear him say anything about the QB's. He was asked about the RB competition and he said it was to early to tell. That is when he was asked about Poole breaking a couple of long runs and he said he was doing well. He said he has kept quiet and continues to work hard. John Brice from Volquest also talked about how good Poole looked in the practice before. He must be turning some heads.

As long as our RB's are not turning the heads of the offensive lineman who just felt the football skip past their leg in a wild fumble, I like the sound of this. :good!:
