See, this was exactly the story I brought up that I KNEW about when it happened......actually posted it on VN and got scoffed at. I have the details and much much more. Strange how it takes years to come out....
There's so much more to the story. If I could find the other post about it from last year I would link it.
So, you're circling back around to remind everyone that you know more but won't share it....and are simply hoping to link to a previous post where you did the same thing a year or so, ago?
Say it. Or don't. Pick one.

T-Town Vol has got the main puzzle clue words.
Although Layla is not innocent. Here's a clue: find LK's ATTORNEY (and close personal friend), find Mrs. LK's affairs (yes plural). And no it wasn't with his attorney. He arranged for it to be "taken care of."
Layla has had at least two known affairs while in Knoxville. As I said before, find LK's attorney and close personal friend, Jim ________, he is where you need to look. And again, no, the affair was not with the attorney. He helped them to "make it go away."
Make that at least 5 have heard and 1 has seen.
Do you think it was coincidence that LK and Layla were never seen together in public? Only at official University gatherings (i.e. press conferences, banquets, etc...) that they were together. They both lived their own lives and each have separate skeletons--very very big skeletons. Their marriage is nothing more than a figurehead marriage.
By the way, the APARTMENT that LK kept as a rendezvous point is in downtown Knoxville...on Gay Street...directly across from the parkinglot for the Bijou Theatre. The name eludes me currently. Hope that helps...
The apt is not in his name, but he repeatedly referred to it as "his.". I don't know who's apt it was (booster, friend, etc...) But he had all-access to it and had "visitors" there more than a few times.

Thank you for pulling and posting that MikeD. I had troubles finding it too. The fact of the matter is that the USC job opening was the perfect storm for Lane. He got out and did, in fact, make most of the trouble he stuck his head into "go away." This is not Hollywood or LA. The kind of lifestyle that he (and Layla) wanted to live here would not fly. People are going to talk and not be okay with things that were going on. It is obvious that there was a coverup regarding the accident that night and that it was actually after Lane had been out with a group of women and they were in the car, none of which were Layla. Alcohol was involved. Lane was the driver. He was quickly shuttled away from the scene. The "others" in the car seemingly disappeared. A report was filed. Damages were repaired. And Lexus of Knoxville tried to keep it under wraps too. It just can't stay hidden for long.
Don't be naive. These are not things I just pulled from a hat and then all of a sudden months down the road they start to come out from other sources. I am very careful to distinguish between what I KNOW and what is hearsay. Everything above and what I said before regarding the Lane/Layla saga is what I KNOW.
So, you're alleging that Layla's an adulterous slut?
Even if true - what does that matter one whit as to Kiffin's alleged misdeeds while here (i.e. the wreck, orgy pad, etc.), other than simple sensationalism?
And if her alleged lover(s) is/are somehow germane to the situation, then you should better and more fully explain how you believe this to be the case (i.e. one was also a principal character within the UTAD, illegal activity was involved, etc.). If you are waiting for everyone to figure out who this may be, or how they fit in, don't hold your breath.
And even if someone were to determine the mystery counsel you mentioned -you're crazy if you think that they'll shed light on this.....after being paid (and ethically barred) to prevent it from coming to light, whatever it may or may not allegedly entail.
And finally, when you say, "Make it go away" - what are you referencing, exactly? Layla Kiffin's alleged affairs? The orgy house on Gay Street?
