Yes. Every single coaching staff that has ever been hired gets 3 years.

A coach, and I'm not taking up for Kiffin or anyone else, has to have time. 3 years is reasonable. After three, you can question his moves, decisions, the direction etc and decide if it's time to move on.

I can promise you that 3 years of recruiting and coaching from this staff that Tennessee will look 1000 times better.

It is what it is this year. The QB sucks, the backup QB sucks just as much if not more and the WRs can't catch.

To do it 5 games in is idiotic. It's Bammer-like.

Why would you even give this guy the pleasure of arguing with him? I guarantee you he will be on the lane train when we reload and are competing for sec and national titles in a few years.

Looks to me as if old CPF played us for a good buyout himself if he loved Tennessee so much that “he could not let her stay divided” he should have worked out a lower buy out for the university.

I think Kiffin thinks by losing we can get the number one pick, and be able to draft a good QB. Please someone tell him this college not the pros.

Kiffin really needs to reevaluate the direction we are going.

Im sick of hearing about Kiffin coaching. It makes no difference whether we win or lose this year, about how good of a coach he is. If we lose, we are suppose to; thats why there was a coaching change due to lack of talent and wins lately. Heck, if we were 5-0, it would be because we have fulmer's players. The truth is we wont know how good he can coach until year 3. Thats when we will be expected to compete on a national level. Saban went 6-6 in his first year with a loss to ULM, lets stop bashing the coaching staff and jump into reality that UT does not have high level SEC talent and for sure not a sec QB. Lets remain on the LANE TRAIN for the rest of the season and hope that we can make a bowl.

For those that think CLK is playing JC as a recruiting stategy you must get off the crack pipe now!! If we had decent QB play we would most likley be 5-0 or at the least 4-1 and he would be up for coach of the year.

Not to mention winning is the best recruiter.

be honest are you 100 percent pleased w/ the plan of action clk brought to town to prepare our team for THIS YEAR.

keep in mind cheezehead was in the same boat if not worse (suppot wise) and please dont tell me they have better talent (its just not true).
