Yeah, that may be true, but we will be left with putrid OL numbers and key defensive personnel will be missing too (if Eric Berry goes pro). I think the 2010 matchup could look a little like the 2003 hail mary game. Two lost teams underperforming.

2010 could indeed be disastrous for the Gators. Tebow will be gone. Add to that the fact that we may see another mass exodus of the defensive players going to the NFL or graduating (similar to what we saw after the 2006 season). I think as well, given that and given the success of the past year, you might see guys like Demps leave early.

It is not inconceivable that between seniors graduating and people leaving early to the NFL, Florida could be left with a shell of its current team.

A huge step backward is certainly possible, if not likely.
