Okay, after reading this over and looking over '30 SEC Questions' writeup I now realize the fans that authored these are morons.

I just don't see how Dan Mullen was ranked higher...he's never coached a game

Spurrier's #11 ranking must be based solely on what he did at Florida.

Mike Leach certainly should not be in the top 15.

Kirk Ferentz continues to be overrated.

Based on the media bashing and the fact that he has yet to coach a single down in a game yet, Id have to say Im amazed that he is ranked 90. What does that say about the people who comprised the last 10 spots?

I love the blurb about Mullen.

Few assistant have the resume that Mullen has put together over the last 5 seasons. His offenses have won 2 National Championships, 3 BCS bowl games, he's coached a Heisman winner, and a NFL first rounder

I'm not concerned. If he's still ranked 90 in a year, it may be time to worry.

i always wondered why the media praised mullen for his accomplishments as an assistant, but when it came time for them to talk about kiffin, they always mention that he has never been a college head football coach before. looking at those "stats" kiffin and mullen are extremely similar. the only real difference is that kiffin has been a head coach before, although at an extremely dysfunctional franchise.

more piling on here...Kiffin's easy target so people like to throw down on him. We'll see what this list looks like in 3 years.

I don't see how the biggest game of the SEC for 2009 isn't the Tennessee-Florida game. CUM and CLK round 1, c'mon now.

I hope we win 10 games this year, and CLK wins some national coach of the year award, and then goes to the ceremony, gets the trophy, and then smashes it on the floor and says "f*** all of you. i dont want you damned trophy. i have to go call a recruit." that would be a nice slap in the face to everyone. probably wont happen, but i would enjoy it if it did.

I cant help but laugh at this list...I feel like they are stretching things way to far by even doing a top 100..top 50 I'll give you but I think a top 25 is more realistic

When I saw CLM at 24 I knew then that this list was a joke. Not to mention the domer at 50... I "sheetz m' dores" when I read that one.

But the list served its purpose by getting people to talk about the best coaches.

Nonetheless, I totall agree with his top five. These next few years are going to be tough.
