It was mentioned in the press conference that four members of the staff will be retained for now and that they will be evaluated and possibly kept.

Does anyone know who these four members of the current staff are?

Right now, Michaels, Adkins, Drayton, and Scott will be retained to recruit. They will be further evaluated.

Didn't Jarvis Giles say that he wants to go to school wherever Drayton is coaching?
Sounds like we kept the right members of the staff (For now at least).

No way Adkins stays for next year. Scott, Drayton, and Michaels all have an excellent shot to be retained permanently.

I did a search and didn't see a thread dedicated to Kiffin's staff so I decided to start this one...

Who will he bring in?

Looks like Monte is basically a sealed deal and Reaves has been brought in but not given an official position yet...

Who do we get for each coaching vacancy?

Who do we keep from the current group?

Will we have a dedicated special teams coach?

he said on CFB now that configuring the staff would take some time, but it will be a good staff. I hope this means that he is waiting for the end of the NFL season to get his dad and Coach O

Be patient. Doing it right is better than doing it fast - Lane Kiffin

Reaves is here. Drayton, Scott, Adkins and Micheal will get a chance to keep their jobs.

It's definitely better to do it right...but I would also like to see it happen relatively quick to salvage the recruiting haul....

But I'm sure nobody is working harder at it or more concerned with it than Kiffin..

You've said before you thought Scott is the only one you think stands a chance of being retained....do you still feel that way...looks like they all will get a fair shot at keeping their jobs...

Defensively...what's the word on Norton Jr.(if there is any at all) and is their any truth to the Steele rumors?

Sorry groves...I know that's alot...thanks for the info

norton is an elite recruiter, but apparently not much of a defensive mind. i imagine he wouldn't come to tenn unless he got a upgrade in position.

Recruiting is in good hands with Reaves and Kiffin.

I think Yogi Roth takes Scott's job, but who knows? We'll see

Steele rumors are just rumors for now. Norton Jr is probably not going to be here.

Monte is still pure speculation! I hope he does come aboard, but He stated yesterday after the Bucs game it was pure speculation! I read it in an ESPN article

"It's all just speculation. That's all it is," Monte Kiffin said after Tampa Bay's 23-20 victory over New Orleans. "I can honestly tell you it's speculation, just like it came up with the Raiders, it came up two years ago, it came up last year.

I am really interested in seeing who the O coordinator is. Here is a couple longshots that are worth discussing. BTW, VQ guys been saying a bigtime coordinator at a southern school who is playing in a big bowl game is on board.

1) Jim McElwain- Alabama's Offensive Coordinator. Really no tie to Kiffin, but coached at CLK Alma Mater Fresno State before going to Bama. Was QB coach in Oakland in 2006 so I guess that means Lane didn't retain him so maybe not.

2) Major Applewhite- Fits the big time coordinator playing in a big bowl game criteria. You have to wonder how he feels about Muschamp being named Coach in Waiting at TX since it is indeed Applewhite's Alma Mater.

Did I hear it right? Chevas and Clawson are gone.
Looking forward to seeing our new offense next year. I couldn't believe Fulmer hired a Richmond Spider to run a SEC offense. Didn't make a whole lot of sense.
