I think it shows that we're not near where we want to be, not only winning, but as a result, in recruiting. Time will tell, but Dooley will get us there.
Keep the faith, volnation. Keep the faith.
Not too worried about CDD's recruiting ability. Looks like he will break into the top 10 this year. He has some 5 stars on the hook, but we all know some of those kids have the kiss of death-Bryce, Janzen Da'Prichk. Wasn't Tiny a 5 star?
Holy hell dude! It is the first game of the season and you're bringing up past recruiting classes that have ZERO to do with this current roster?!?! Wow!

See what happens when you recruit at such a high level like Tennessee did in the 90's and early 2000's? The "busts" dont effect the program at all. It only becomes magnified when your roster is depleted and you have to count on every single one of them panning out. That is what happened with the 2007 class. It was good but they recruited so poorly the years before and after that class that they needed everyone to pan out and realistically that never happens.
I can name about 10 5-stars they landed in the 90's who were "busts" but it didn't affect the program at all.
